I got one as a gift, and it chops fantastic, once I got the hang of it.

How does one not cut their fingers off with that?

I bet the Cutco Ulu is the best on the market!

My wife bought it for me in Alaska on the Homer Spit. It has an elk horn handle and the blade is made from a an antique saw blade.

Haven't you heard? You can clear a pine forest with it and it won't need sharpening.

Got three off them.

Wife is Yup'ik Eskimo and has two that have been handed down for generations in her family.

I will not cut fish or moose/caribou without them.

It took some getting used to, but it's amazing afterwards.

Brought one back from Alaska. Cut my finger the first I used it. Haven't touched it since.

Chip Hailstone's wife on the show "Alaska, The Last Frontier" uses one for almost every cutting need. She is real good with it when cleaning and cutting salmon for smoking and butchering wild game.

Her knife is always razor sharp by the looks of it.

It is sharp AF. Doesn't look it in my pic, though.

That looks like it would be a pain in the arse to sharpen.
