Any vertical charcoal smoker users here?

Getting time to replace my ECB. It has been good but I need to upgrade and would like to stick with charcoal.
The usual suspect is a WSM which I am not opposed to, just wanted to check all options and noticed a few vertical charcoal smokers that looked interesting.
Cheap unit but just an example:

Be prepared for people to tell you that you can't beat the WSM.
Including me. Get a WSM.

I just bought one, only used it once but I liked it a lot. Pretty easy to use.

I own a vertical roaster oven (OK Joe offset vertical smoker made in the early 90's) and when the firebox started to rust out, I bought a WSM. The WSM is almost a set and forget, once you get it dialed in. I also pair the WSM with a digiQ and overnight cooks are no issue at all. I still own both and will be bringing the old OK Joe to a welder to make a new fire box, just because I love it for ribs and chicken, and the nostalgia.

I have a WSM22.5" vertical water smoker. It is a damn good entry level smoker.
I also have a Backwoods Chubby G2 insulated cabinet style smoker that does a fantastic job. Backwoods has just introduced a smaller more economical version of the chubby that sells for 799.00 I believe. It would be a great way to get started in the vertical insulated smokers. backwoods are manufactured in Shreveport. Ballistic BBQ has a couple of videos on You tube using the new Chubby 3040 smoker.
I am now in the market for a stick burner or offset. Looking at either a economical Old Country Pecos from Academy are just biting the bullet and ordering a Gator back yard Pit.

I also have a WSM. Hard to beat the quality for the price. Use the minion method for your coals and it will hold temp for hours. You can also buy an extra grate and stack (upside down) on the top rack for extra cooking surface.

What is your budget? How many people do you cook for?
I have a Backwoods Smoker G2 Fatboy, but have experience with a lot of different smokers.

I'm running an Old Country vertical from Academy and like it. Been using a mix of sticks & lump charcoal. I usually have to feed it every hour during a cook. Much more cooking space than I need. Has 3 cooking grates & 4 sausage hangers.
