It’s remarkable how many bad takes you have. You’re saying a lazily thrown together RB&R in a crockpot is going to be the same as a carefully constructed RB&R that uses quality ingredients like smoked ham hocks and good sausage? Absolute clown take.
Things I’ve added in the past that have absolutely led to noticeable improvement include smoked ham hocks, leftover ham from Christmas chopped up, and smoked turkey legs. I use the ham hocks and some type of ham every time along with sausage. I’ve only done the turkey legs once and twice but liked the result.
For the smoked ham hocks and turkey legs I let them simmer for a while then pull them out and pick the meat off the bone to add back. The ham breaks down and shreds with the long simmer and adds great flavor.

I was going to suggest the same thing.

That’s not what I said at all, clown. I said:

Just cook them right and use whatever type of meat you like.
What part of “cook them right” makes you think that means “lazily thrown together”?
Your take is turkey legs yet you say I have the clown take?

You added absolutely nothing helpful, which is standard for you. Come back when someone posts another “is this safe to eat” thread. Those are where you really shine

Really? I provide many helpful comments on the post topics in many posts. You’re just wrong.

I asked Grok:
Does the poster with the handle “sixthandbarone” on the website Tigerdroppings provide many helpful comments in the food and drink board of tigerdroppings?
The answer:
Yes, “SixthAndBarone”… is a very active and frequent contributor … and many of their comments are helpful and practical.
They regularly post and reply in threads about recipes, cooking techniques, ….
Their contributions often draw from personal experience, providing specific tips, measurements, adjustments, and advice that others engage with positively.
Examples of their activity and helpfulness:
• Recipes and scaling for crowds: In large-group threads (e.g., gumbo for 30–100 people or lent meals), they offer detailed calculations like roux ratios, rice amounts…
• Gumbo and Cajun/Creole tips: Frequent input on simmering times…
• Grilling and techniques: Started or contributed to threads on grilling pork loin, favorite grill items…
• Other practical advice: Wing sauce recipes/toss ideas… They respond directly to questions with quotes and clarifications.

I asked Claude the same thing and the response was
SixthandBarone loves thick smoked sausage.

Asking AI chatbots about your own message board posting is definitely the action of a normal, sane individual

Sometimes I’ll buy the smoked ham hocks and smoke them again for some extra flavor. Leftover ham bone is always good too.

As many have said, ham hock. Goes a long way.
Also, and I presume you do this, but just in case, brown the sausage/meat, then cook the trinity in those drippings.

Harsh, bro, harsh.
I'm told that I have a clown take and that I have no helpful posts. You don't expect me to respond?

response to criticism is optional, nobody is keeping score. But you asked an AI agent for an opinion on your post history? And then used that as your response?
no that was not to be expected. That is douche behavior. You have much to offer this board but you are thin skinned, preachy and elitist in your demeanor. People are reacting negatively to you, not your message.

3 things -
A splash of red wine vinegar to offset the "earthiness" of the beans. Gives them a little tang.
Cup of tomato sauce - see above. Some people so no way, but Louis Armstrong actually used ketchup in his famous recipe. Also gives a more attractive reddish color.
Lots of celery seed/celery salt.

ChatGPT:
Short answer: there’s no solid evidence that “sixthandbarone” is known for being especially helpful on the Food & Drink board—and what little is documented leans more toward the opposite (i.e., notoriety/controversy rather than usefulness).
Here’s what can actually be pieced together:
1. Very little public record of that user’s Food & Drink contributions
The TigerDroppings Food & Drink board is active and wide-ranging (recipes, restaurant advice, etc.), but it’s also highly anonymous and thread-based, so individual reputations are mostly built informally. ?
There aren’t clear, accessible examples showing “sixthandbarone” as a consistently helpful contributor in that specific board.
2. The only identifiable mentions suggest notoriety, not expertise
The one concrete reference to that handle indicates they’re remembered for something controversial or memorable:
• They’re grouped among posters tied to “memorable or controversial posts” and possibly heavy downvoting. ?
That’s not how helpful, high-quality contributors are usually described on forums like this.
3. Context: reputation on TigerDroppings is informal and inconsistent
On TigerDroppings:
• Users are anonymous and develop reputations organically over time
• Content quality varies widely—from genuinely useful advice to trolling or inside jokes ?
So unless a poster is widely praised (which leaves a clear footprint), it’s hard to label them as “helpful” in any consistent sense.
?
Bottom line
There’s no evidence that “sixthandbarone” is a notably helpful Food & Drink poster, and the limited references that do exist suggest they’re better known for controversial or memorable posts rather than reliable advice.
