Sandro's, Vincent's, Cypress, Austin's, Zea's, Bevi, Byblos Market, World Deli, R&O's, Giorlando's, Bud's Broiler, Taco Tico(Kenner). Good list that runs the gamut from fairly high end to nostalgic junk food.

Can't argue with you there. Forgot about Chateau du lac and I left for Houston before Marcellos opened, will try Marcellos next time I visit.

Surprised no one mentioned Cafe B and Vega Tapas on Metairie Rd, and further down Taj Mahal.
Also rarely mentioned in the same area is Blue Line Sandwich and is very good.
