Any place worth a visit for a meal in Shreveport?

I used to go a decent amount 15 years ago for work. Always stayed at the hotel casinos downtown, but The Blind Tiger was always the place I stopped every time. Great Louisiana food and a sneaky good burger. Good bar, too.

I’ve never been to Ki Mexico, but I’ve heard tons of good things. Rolling in the Dough has a good burger, IMO. For BBQ, the ribs at Hickory Stick are good. These are more lunch spots than anything else. Couldn’t really give you a good dinner rec.

Niema’s Cookery Corner just opened up on Youree Dr. It’s N. African cuisine and their food looks incredible. I had some brisket tacos at the Farmer’s Market yesterday that were pretty awesome.

If you like Viet/Thai type food, Danh's Garden and Pham's Sandwich Shop are both good and within half a mile of each other on Youree Drive. Danh's building is nothing fancy, but the food is really good. Pham's is newer and nicer and has good banh mi, pho, etc.
Athena Greek & Lebanese Grill is another good one if you like that style of food.

Lucky Palace chinese. What a trip that place is. Very good American-Chinese and if you're into wine, he has the best wine list between Atlanta and Dallas.
