Any fruit or veggie that is sweet will be good. Carrots, sweet potatoes, oranges Are all good.

Never had pineapple but I cant see why it wouldn't taste good.

Anything taste better if you let it boil in crab boil. Doesn't change the flavor of the crawfish.

Wouldn’t it turn to mush?

I love it.

It doesn't flavor the boil, but rather sucks up the flavor of the boil, one of the best things other than the crawfish to eat. Edamame is also an excellent seldomly used ingredient, just add it at the end and don't boil it too long. It'll be the best tasting edamame you'll ever have.

If it weren't for the internet, what would you do for attention?

Nothing. I don’t need attention.

Is it to sweeten the water or spice up the fruit to eat?

I tried it. It tastes like hot (as in temperature not spice) pineapple. I didn’t care for it.

dust some pineapple in brown sugar and grill it indirectly for about 15 minutes at 350.

To spice up the pineapple. I brought a pineapple to a boil once as a contribution but the boil master said no to it. It really doesn't change the taste of the boil, but rather the pineapple picks up the delectable flavors of the boil.

This is how my dad does it

Carves a whole pineapple and grills it

Uses this rub I believe that's made specifically for grilling fruit

Hasn't done it in a while but it comes out really good

How do you go about doing this? Just carve off the outside skin and throw it in whole?
