Ours is tomorrow, and I'm bringing fresh satsuma/mint agua fresca...I signed up late and all of the food was already covered. So I get off easy!

What kinda shite hole do you work in, if your office party potluck doesn't have satsuma mint agua fresca?

This is a food board....imagine, people on this board actually being interested in food, in all of its myriad forms. Theme this year was international--we're having everything from southern Indian chickpea curry to a Ghanaian chicken/peanut stew. My offering will be in keeping with the theme & I'm sure all of it will be consumed.

Not everyone works in the land of Pinterest cream cheese dips and WalMart precut fruit trays.

I'm not the one criticizing. It sounds delightful.

Amazing.

ETA: I am not criticizing either. I would drink it with that chickpea curry. I was genuinely asking a question.

So glad my office doesn't do this. I like my co-workers, but really don't want to eat anything they cook.

for some reason you got me laughing pretty hard. I need to go do my Walmart pick up soon so I can fulfill my offices potluck fantasies with cream cheese dip, pigs in the blanket and TGI Fridays frozen mozzarella sticks.

Made this for the LSU/Auburn game tailgate.
Good reviews from my peeps. I was bummed I couldn’t find the Chessmen cookies, so I went went shortbread. I added rum to the whipped cream, which I think worked well.
And Paula is not joking about it being rich!

I dunno, I'm not making it....party is tomorrow, can't report on whether our resident West African's nanabaa's recipe is close to that one or not. Isn't the world a big and beautiful place?

It's surprisingly similar to the Thai curries I'm used to making. In fact, replace the chicken stock with coconut milk and it's chicken massaman.

What question? You said, "What's wrong with you?".. I'm not really sure what you're implying or how you realistically expected her to answer that.
