Of the 3 you mentioned, Albasha is clearly the best.

I also really like Zorba's, if that counts

Romans’ food is far tastier than any of the others. Order hummus from each and do a blind test. You’ll find a noticeable difference.

Roman’s’ chicken soup is superb.

I quit using Serop Express a few years ago when they wanted to charge me for water.

I said earlier in this thread that I love that place.

From what I’ve heard those giant rotisserie stacks are sourced out and pretty much identical. If your gyro or shawarma is dry it’s because it isn’t being ordered and served fast enough. But it’s pretty much the same product.

Out of those 3 - Albasha

Kabob’s on the end of George O’Neal was good the only time I went there. And Zorba’s is excellent

In our regular lunch rotation. Always loved the subliminal attempts to recruit to the cause with the piped in music.

Romans really does have good Gyros, I like mine crispy. Albasha for the sitdown experience.

Same. Everyone in town has crispy chicken, but Romans is the only place with crispy gyro.

Sorry, I can’t ever get the quote to work, but replying back to the Rende’s mention. Sam’s Greek in Hwy 44 in Gonzales is really great. Sam used to be set up at Rende’s on Hwy 44 before opening his own place.

Albasha does that as well. Tell them you want the gyro's plate "crispy". Very good.
