I'm sorry you're not having something yummy for supper. Pizza delivery night?

No No - I have since posting this discovered that the wife is making one of my favorite meals tonight.

!!!!! Meatloaf !!!!!

The entire house smells wonderfully meatloafffyyyee, or at least the part where I am does.

I would have posted this good supper news already, but I have been in surgery, working my way through a safety switch replacement on our paper shredder.

At our house, we cross chop shred and then burn documents. No sense in being sensible when it comes to document disposal when it so easy to go overboard.

I think she is doing frozen English peas with small potatoes cut up in them as a side with our meatloaf. Maybe boiled carrots as a second veggie. All of these are on my list of favorite dinner items.

Yay for the meatloaf.

I was going to give you a 72 hour recipe for sous vide dish towels.

Here's a timesaver. Instead of going through all that hassle of boiling your dish towels, just buy a roll of Brauny (the jarred roux of the towel world). They are always white and never dingy.

The wife is sor'ta a Viva girl. They are the thick Kleenex rolled paper towels.

They are really nice to blow your nose with when you have one of those four day snottymus maximus virus infections.

Uhh, it would taste like shite. Plus the bleach could cause internal bleeding.

I've been doing sous vide towel as of late. A side of flash fried pot holder and youre in business.
How can you possibly clean them properly without using a microwave oven in the process?

We live a couple of miles north of North Hills on the east side of town. I can be at Dalewood lake from my house in maybe ten or twelve minutes. Almost due east of us. We have friends who live out there and have looked at maybe four houses at Dalewood Lake over the thirteen yeas we have lived here. We like that lake a lot and the crappy fishing is very good there. Problem is we have a really nice house on 5 acres and can't touch our house at Dalewood. Now that I am retired, we are getting serious about selling. Then tomorrow we are staying because we live in a desirable neighborhood and have really good neighbors. If you get to Meridian and want to visit, drop by the sheriff's dept. and ask the chief deputy. We are buds and he will either throw you in the county lock-up or direct you to my house.

As a fun fact, I live right down the street from the Pfizer Viagra Sales rep.

For some of you that have a few miles on you, do you remember Jerry Tarkanian, the basketball coach at UNLV. He popularized the "Towel Sushi" snack at games.
