Trying to get healthier. I also realized I ate Dominos on Christmas Eve at least the last two years.

Toof inspired me to get a thin crust last night. Mushrooms and red peppers topped, it weighed an impressive 19.1 oz and was as perfect as a dominos pie can be. The thin gives you half the food as an original crust, but sometimes it’s worth it for that snappy crunch.

Goddamn, this is the thread I needed today.

Gotta admit... this thread talked me in to picking one up yesterday. Brooklyn style, well done, 2x pepperoni. It was a grease bucket and mighty tasty for $6.

Anyone else have reviews or stories of their recent dominos purchase? I plan on getting one later this evening. Thin has been money. Debating which toppings to get.

I was thinking of purchasing a New York style for the game tonight. What toppings would you suggest?

On the NY I start with a layer of pepperonis. Depends on the mood if I choose mushrooms or roasted red peppers. The mushrooms are fresh, unlike papa Johns which uses soggy canned mushrooms. When needing a boost of zinc and that deep earthy flavor I go with the mushrooms. When desiring a smokier flavor I go with roasted red peppers.

When I’m really adventurous I’ll do anchovies and mushrooms and tomatoes (when 3 topping pick up for 7.99).

Always get extra red sauce if it’s available. For pan and original crusts always get well done. For NY style it’s a fine line. If you know you pizzaiola well, he will know how you like it. The last time I ordered online without talking to the pizzaiola I ordered well done and it was too well done. So if you are ordering blindly I might recommend getting it medium well. For thin crust, I don’t ask for special baking instructions as regular is plenty crisp.

I hope you have a wonderful meal and look forward to reading your review.

Take your pick.

You’re a weird dude and I like it.

Why do you weigh them again?

On the average:
Original 38oz
Pan 26oz
NY 23oz
Thin 18oz

I started recording to determine which was the financially most responsible style. This started around 2001. There are many reasons to record your food’s weight.

It allows you to track your food intake. It opens the world of corporate food in America - I have plenty of insight I will release once my book publishes.

I have also used the recordings to get free pizzas. When a pizza is more than two standard deviations from the mean, I contact my local manager and request a free pizza, which she usually gives without any hassle.

I try to weigh most of my food when possible. In grocery stores you’d be amazed how much variation there is between packaged foods, including vegetables.

I suspect mother makes the best pizza but she’s not always around but still does not allow you to eat it in the bedroom you share with your other siblings.

Just ordered an anchovy and mushroom. Benjamin has started to make it. I’ll report when I have it in hand.

I'd rather carry out anyway. Can't decide this or whole foods pizza.

I don't believe in luck. Unfortunately, today was not Benjamin's best effort. I could see they were swamped, so perhaps a reason for it. Not even the masters are perfect with each pie.

If you like anchovy, this hits the spot. I feel, that Benjamin went much too light on the mushrooms. I probably should have gotten a third topping to give it some color. It's quite a drab looking pizza, although the flavor is intense and reminiscent of a pie I had at Da Maria on the Amalfi Coast. Its weight came in low at 17.3 oz.

To give you some color, here was dinner the other night.
Monica made this pie and she worked magic on it. An ecstatic experience.

Now I am sitting alone, finishing up my first rewatch of Boyz n the Hood in over a decade. That film was well ahead of its time and continues to have a strong influence on people. I wish I could hang in real life with some of my online friends like SuperSaint and NIH. At least we can share some food photos and words.

15 years ago Whole Foods had a great pizza and Dominos pizza was not very good. Whole Foods has gone way down with pizzas while Dominos has rocketed to the top, nearly as good as Pizza Delicious. Go with Dominos tonight.

Thank you.

When I purchase this pizza I’ll say a prayer of thanks to Domino’s, the Lord, and you for this advice.

Vegetables belong on a salad baw. Not as pizza toppings
