From their Instagram last night:

To our valued customers....

quote:

504 will be closed temporarily as we pivot our business and resolve the lingering hardships of Covid-19. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to serving you again soon.

Any scoop on what's going on? I always liked this place and it seems like they went out of their way to have good events to drum up business.

I love the place. I’m sure they struggle still with location problems.

This might just be a situation though of the key folks having caught Covid. They don’t seem like crazies about it, but will want to stay home

I make it a point to stop in every time I come in town. I hope it all works out for them.

Me too. I used to go fairly often on Fridays for discounted growler fills but haven't done so in a while. Hopefully they are back running soon.

I think they bet on the Tulane corridor being the next "thing" and it hasn't really happened.

The next big thing was hookers and gun shots. I know they wouldn’t do it, but they would kill it in East Metairie. There is a huge void of craft beer since Lagers became a shitty chain hamburger place.

I have never stepped foot in this place nor have I lived in New Orleans for many year but the tap list they have on their website is dreadful. Who wants to drink big stouts in the summer in New Orleans? Not one ipa but a couple milk stouts? I do not understand what they are doing.

Place had a terrible, sterile vibe. Like a LAN party

A lot of "craft beer bars" nationally are just being pushed out of the market by local breweries with onsite tap rooms/gathering spaces.

People would rather drink at the source, especially people with families bc there's more space for kids to run around.

Breweries just check more boxes than beer bars in 2022.
