Should the debate be public? Or thru email?

Never been.. Would anyone else say that it would unseat a John Besh restaurant?

For restaurants to be included, debate should be public since we're egalitarian here. I know this may hard for the Old New Orleans crowd.
The final numerical seedings should be private, only for the suspense of it all.

I havent tried T-Coons. Gonna have to now..
I'll give you that one and Catahoula's and
Le Rosier since I have heard Pats isnt as good as it used to be. Mr Lesters? Where is this? Sounds familiar. Have no problem with Joe Dreyfus Store in place of Parkway since Im sure someone else will throw Parkway in there.

Also I dont know if I can unseat Little Village for Jubans since they just have not been the same lately and LV serves one of the best steaks I have had in the state. Digulio Brothers is a good option though. Hard to unseat Ginos with them though.

What are some at large bids that may get overlooked because they are out in the middle of no where?
I'm thinking Middendorf's, Crabtrap, Mosca's, Lafitte's Landing. Perusing the small town Louisiana good restaurants stickied thread is a good thing.

I chose Middendorfs but I would like to see Lafitte's Landing make it and Hymel's

Mosca's will be included in the Westbank area no?
Posted on 3/26/09 at 12:00 pm to Solo
I'm probably going to submit Mosca's...TA's not around for me to consult with him, so until that time...

I thought Mo's Pizza might make it from the Westbank. It would be pose a very interesting matchup if faced against Johnny's. 9 Roses is another Westbank establishment that will get consideration from T.A. Where is T.A.?

With only two selections, I would be vehemently opposed to including Moe's. Honestly, I much prefer Godfather's compared to that (RIP Godfather's).

Mr Lesters?
is the very very high end steakhouse in the Cypress Bayou Casino in Charenton/Baldwin, LA. The best wait staff and ambiance in any high end restaurant in Acadiana
Catahoula's and Le Rosier are the two highest rated (nationally) restaurants in the Acadiana area. Pat's is good but Prejeans represents that genre better and they have redone their menu. Joe Dreyfus Store needs to be in there and I have never been to Parkway, tell me about it
Also Jubans was picked on reputation only. Havent been there in quite some time. Digiulio Brothers is less than or barely equal to Gino's so dropping them is not a problem. I think some consideration should be given to George's, they do bring a lot to the table

Sal & Judys has possibility
Of all the restaurants listed, this is the one that I eat at the most. Always consistantly great food. It would compete with name recognition in other parts of the state.
If you are looking at restaurants to compete with the Old NO list, then I would support Dekota, Del Porto, and La Provence. The others, all being very good restaurants, do not fit into the high end catagory.

I just want to make sure that Pancho's makes one of the lists!

I love that place...you get more food when you raise the little mexican flag.

Think I mentioned that Pancho's needs to be the honorary 65th team that loses the play-in game - just like March Madness.
