It still boggles my mind that they would post that when you first get to their site. Do they think if some Nazi saw that they would no longer go? My guess is a group would all go intentionally because of that post.
Pretty much all it does is virtue signal to one group of people and turns others off because they would make a political statement.

Double Cheeseburger, Hugh-Baby’s (Nashville, Tennessee)
The brainchild of Martin’s Bar-B-Que’s Pat Martin looks like a retro fast food joint, but one bite of their burger should make it clear that it’s operating on a very high level. Burgers at Hugh-Baby’s are a custom blend and ground fresh in house daily, and they are the result of years of research and experimentation by Pat Martin and his team. Simple and cooked to order with attention to the details, these are burgers as they should be, griddled and topped with American cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion and comeback sauce.

I just read an interview last week that they did on this specific statement. It’s hilarious all you dopes who get up in arms about it lol

Au Cheval is really good, but I don't know how it keeps getting ranked so high. I've had burgers just as good at a few places.

Miss me with this overcooked bullshite. Though the selections for Dallas are solid.

I'm not up in arms about it. I just don't think it was a good business move for them.
Restaurants already have the highest fail rate of any business in the country and you want to alienate some of your potential customers? It's their business so they can do what they want but I would have avoided a post like that when I managed restaurants. Money is green no matter whose pocket it's in.

It's a pretty cringeworthy virtue signal. No one is upset about it. They just called it what it is.

It’s so cringey. Who is for hate and Nazis?

The MAGA hat wearing strawman they built.

Ever since I read it the first time, I’ve always wondered if they would ask someone wearing that hat to leave.

Don't think so. I feel like they get by more on reputation, location, and atmosphere than anything else. They've earned it. It's a good burger, but there are other gourmet burgers in Bham that are better. Foodbar and Fig Tree immediately come to mind as being better.
Golden Rule BBQ on Hwy 31 in Hoover has the best everyday burger in Bham. No question.

I don’t see people up in arms about it. But of all the things in the city of New Orleans to rail against they choose Nazis. Talk about a bunch of dopes.

Do you think the sign has helped with their Nazi problem?

5 people responded to my comment about that feeling the need to defend themselves. Tells you enough.

It tells you nothing.
You're trying to create this "outrage" from thin air. It works better on the rant where IQs are double digits.
