Yep if we wanted experts we would get one of Rick's friends from Pawn Stars..
you KNOW he knows someone that's an expert on this! "oh, you want to sell that levee? i don't know much about levee's so i'm going to have my friend who's a levee expert take a look at it..."

If all you're going to do is troll, then why even show up in this thread?
i'm not trolling, i'm just asking how come this thread is somehow the be all/end all on this flood and no one else (real news outlets) seems to be reporting it's potential severity?

I have seen plenty of news on the severity in the Missouri/Illinois area. Not in BR, so don't know what they're reporting there.

I'll say it again, the focus is on Usama's take down. Google it, and everyone in that area is covering it.

I have no idea, but it definitely warrants a look by them. I'm no doomsdayer at all, and not really concerned but someone should be reporting on it. Better to be prepared rather than being caught off guard.

Read Scottie P's posts. If he doesn't qualify as an expert I don't know who would.

anf i'll say again, this thread is 3 days old (obl story is a day old) and directly affects south louisiana and an amount of money that i can not even fathom if the rivers change course and shut down every plant from br south and shuts down what happens to be america's shipping superhighway, yet no one is talking about it? no direct warnings are coming out other than your standard NWS warnings?

Coon already said he doesn't believe anything he reads hear. He's just here to discuss his opinion.

the river changing course is like a conspiracy theory only brought up today in this thread
its not quite newsworthy in terms of chances of it happening, IMHO
