Did a barge hit the Old Bridge on BR ?

Just got a text saying 4 barges broke loose and 2 may have hit the bridge. It's closed for inspection. Can someone confirm?

they have all but 4 taken care of and they are close to handling those 4 as well.

US 190 closed over the old bridge for inspection.

jesus what a cluster frick. you think they would find a way to make sure this didn't happen after katrina but nope we have loose barges that could have taken out a part of the levee

an empty bridge still could pose a problem. Thats a lot of weight and the current is ripping.
