Ekeler - went 2nd overall last year. (In my draft)
Cupp- went 5th overall
Kelce- went 7th overall
Mahomes- 2nd round (19th overall - 1st QB taken)

Puka - undrafted

Ekeler is dust, maybe a mid round gamble if you’re a wait on RB type

Kupp- probably a bounce back candidate, people will shite on all offseason. Then once the season gets going everyone will wonder why they let him slip to the mid rounds. I don’t think he’s washed, just never got healthy this season.

Those chiefs probably depend on what’s added in the offseason.

Just my predictions:

Ekeler: mid rounds. Never bought into the hype this year and I’m glad I shied away from him

Kupp: end of the first round. He will still be worth that gamble

Kelce: still the first TE off the board with people expecting a ‘bounce back’ year

Mahomes: still the top 1/2 QB taken. Not gonna guess a round because QBs are taken all over the place

Ekeler - I could see him going in the late 2nd/early 3rd next year. Similar to where Breece Hall was projected this year
Kupp - I think late 2nd would be appropriate
Kelce - Early 2nd
Mahomes - Early 3rd. With the emergence of Stroud and Richardson as viable QB options with high upside, could push Mahomes' value down a smidge
Puka - This is tricky but I would draft him in the 3rd round

How can anyone possibly draft Kupp ahead of Puka? Kupp isn’t totally done but Puka was clearly the guy.

When you watch Kupp run his routes, it looked like if the play wasn’t run for him, he ran his routes half assed. I could tell right off the snap he wasn’t getting targeted.

Ekeler - I think he is a 3rd/4th rounder if they bring nobody else in which I think they will. If so he falls further. He looks washed. I don’t see him falling further than 5th though bc of name recognition

Kupp- I think he is a early/mid 3rd

Kelce- Mid/Late 3rd - No longer the biggest positional advantage. In flux of young talent at the position. I think he is a bad pick in the 3rd but will get name recognition

Mahomes- Late 3rd/Early 4th unless they bring in a big weapon in off-season. Will also depend on league type. Could be earlier or later

Puka - Early/Mid 2nd

I think all those are too high except for Puka, who is too low. These guys all had very disappointing years and should drop more than 1 round in ADP. The only one I could see not dropping considerably is Mahomes if KC adds some pass catching help

Puka and kupp both 2nd round. Kelce probably 2nd or 3rd TE picked (la porta), mahommes top 5 QB selected. Ekeler (depending on coach and if they bring in another RB) I’d say around the 15-20 rb selected but could be as low as 25-30 selected.

Interested in where L-Jax goes.

MVP and putting up great numbers now, but a major disappointment for a lot of the fantasy season.

No higher than a 4th for me. I have him in both of my dynasty leagues, but he wasn’t really great for redraft. He had some elite games, particularly in fantasy playoffs, but otherwise he had a lot of mediocre games during the season where Gus Edwards vultured 3 times a game

Ekeler- 8th round range
Kupp- 5th round range
Kelce-5th round range
Mahomes- 8th round
Puka-3rd round

Just guesses if I had to make some now.

Ekeler - Free agent who almost certainly won't be back with his team. 8 point PPR drop from 2022 to 2023 (Woof) and the eye test and advanced metrics both align- he's lost a step or 2. Very dependent on landing spot, but I'd be shocked if he went to a good offense where he's likely to get 15+ touches a game. Probably a 5th - 6th rounder in the infamous "RB dead zone"

Kupp- 9 point PPG drop, struggled with injuries but towards the end of the year he was clearly relegated to 3rd on the team in priority with Puka and Kyren being focal points. At age 31 starting 2024 I'm really not sure what the bull case is. Rounds 4 to 5 seem right, but I could see waiting until the 6th because there are so many good WRs in the game today.

Kelce- 3rd round. Averaged 14.6 PPR points, which was a 4 pt decrease from 2022. Clearly slowing down (IMO) but still a good player and a focal point of a good offense. Mark Andrews went early 3rd in most of my leagues after averaging 12.7 PPR points in 2022. Probably TE2 in ADP behind LaPorta. Andrews, Hockenson, McBride should be similar tier and go rounds 3 to 4.

Mahomes- QB ADP is very league dependent, but I'd guess he goes in the 4th. 7 point PPG drop from 2022 to 2023 (YUCK) but name brand/perception should keep his ADP from cratering.

Puka - Early round 2. With the absence of a 1st round TE and lack of 1st round RBs I think taking him at the end of round 1 is reasonable. He went WR6/17.6 PPR PPG as an unheralded rookie who had to earn it every step of the way. With Stafford playing good ball I see no reason he can't repeat that level of production next season.

Ekeler was worse than AJ Dillon this year and should go undrafted but I can see some people drafting him in the mid 5-6 rounds just because of his name. The cliff came and went for him last year.

I know this is an old conversation but I’m seeing Puka in the late first in some mocks and it seems perfectly reasonable.

Agree. Not sure who would knock Puka out the first round.
RBs
CMC
Breece
Bijan
Gibbs

WRs
Ceedee
JJ
Chase
ARSB
AJB
Tyreek

Probably an argument for Puka to go ahead of a few of these players. Maybe in RB heavy draft, JT and/or Kyren might go earlier? Still tough to see him not end up a first round pick.

I’m taking Kyren, JT, and Puka ahead of Gibbs and AJB but yea I think those are the top 12 or so at this point pretty clearly

Saquon running behind that Eagles O-line has to be in consideration.

Center is a big hole. A lot depends on how Jurgens or whoever else does there.
