Worst loss I have ever had in a FFL

I literally needed 0 points from defense to win! Best team in league by far but Hurts went down and Colts freaked me!

I absolutely hate leagues where the defense can have negative points. I get that fantasy is different than real football and we award players who get a reception 1 point, but for a defense to lose points is ridiculous. Should get points for sacks, turnovers, and safeties. If the special teams player fumbles and it is loss, then yes points should be taken away. Not bc of points the other offense scores or if a QB throws a pick 6 to the other team.

That's awful.
I stopped playing team defense leagues a few years ago and am really glad about it. I just play with more flex and wr spots. I also don't play with kickers except for one IDP league with individual defensive players.

Yea drop the defense and add a second flex.
Super flex or basically 2 QBs is also fun.

I keep defenses because it plays a major role in waiver strategy throughout the season and I don't want to lose that. I did get rid of kickers though. I added 0.5 points per TFL for defenses and it seems to have helped.
Colts got 0 this week in my league

I lost the championship by .02 last year.
Of course this year my team in my main league shits the bed in round 1 of the playoffs then blows the rest of the league out in the semis and finals. This shite is brutal sometimes.

Indy D and Keenan Allen almost got me in the championship match, luckily Jaden, Malik, and Gibbs blew up for me.

IDP is the way to go if you want any element of defense

Yeah thats why I don't frick with leagues that have negative possible points for defenses. Absurd

That sucks!!
But seriously, get rid of kickers and defenses. Go to super flex like this:
QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
TE
FLEX
FLEX
QB/FLEX

i stopped playing team defense and kicker leagues. just add more flex spots or play superflex.
i do play one idp league and it's fun, but i wouldn't want to play more than 1 idp league.

In the SECR fantasy league I had the lead in the Super Bowl when I had a single player left and they had none in the last FFL game of season. I benched my player just to be safe. They got 2 or 3 points but I felt entirely confident in my decision and have 0 regrets.

The worst loss I’ve ever witnessed happened in our league’s loser’s bracket championship. One team was up with just one player left to play, while the other team was done. Confident in the win, he benched Jarvis Landry. That night, Yahoo adjusted the Bills defense’s score—his defense—and the correction cost him the game. He ended up losing by two points and sealed himself in our fantasy group as the worst Fantasy Coach ever.
