Yes, to make sure the player isn't taken the following day.
It's pretty simple. Look at the results from the waiver wire, which will be early the next morning. If someone is dropped that you want and you want to actually spend bidding money, send an email. You have from Midnight until 9:00 to get it in.

I have two email boxes set up. For Droppings, it's DroppingsBid@gmail.com.
For Tiger, it's TigerBidding@gmail.com.
LE and Toula will run the Droppings box. I can run Tiger and will nee one other person to have access. LMK, then I will communicate these changes.

Prob better to not have tbm with access. Not saying they would be sharing info but say gyno wins a bid on a highly coveted player by a 1$ it could look like he got some info on how much to bid.

I just sent this:
Waivers process every Wednesday at midnight so if there's someone you want to claim, get your bid in. Remember you have to do it through the waiver wire, not add drop. If any new guys have a question post it on the board.
We have set up 2 new email boxes so that you can now claim a player that was dropped. I will post the information below. The amount of time that a dropped player will be protected is 1 day. You will need to email your league's box with the amount you want to bid, 1.00 being the minimum. At 9:00 PM CST we will announce the winning bids and then either at that time or the following day, we will add the player and deduct the $ amount. If nothing is announced, the player was not bid on and you can add him when he becomes unprotected. Again this is ONLY for protected players, meaning guys that were dropped. Waivers will still run Wed at midnight as usual and you can still add unrestricted free agents, this is just to give you a chance to claim someone that has been dropped. 21JS and i will monitor the Tiger Box. LE and Toula will monitor the droppings box. Here are the email boxes:
