It seems that we'd want to trade depending on the player's matchup for a particular week, right? Like I'd wait to try to get him until he has a better chance of having a good game. Is that how it's done?

No...not really.
You trade based on perceived potential or for need. Trying to trade based on matchups leaves you without much leverage (i.e your matchup is bad so you NEED to trade while the other person may not). Also, I would probably veto it if it happened more than 2x between the same teams.

obviously you don't trade for the sake of trading. I had my first two picks picked up in the first two rounds right before me. I was being reasonable, but had to adjust based upon that. But outside of those two, I picked up who I wanted at my other picks. That said, the only player I see on your roster is peyton manning and I just would not be willing to give up much for him. Now you can offer anyway, but when I reject your offer with no conter offer, understand that it is business, not personnal honey baby.

Can honestly say I'm pretty pleased with the lineup.
I expect big numbers from Kolb, with alot of INT's mixed in.
Grant should be solid, D's have to play 2 deep with Rodgers, though not very many huge games I suspect.
Charles should be a roller coaster. Some really big games and some with very little production. But PPR is going to be great for him.
Foster is my sleeper. Stud in the making. Coaches don't trust Slation and Foster's one cut style is perfect for Kubiak. Also has good hands.
Johnson...nuff said
Boldin I was iffy on, but Flacco has impressed me in pre-season. I expect him to be the #1 on a play action team by years end.
Miller is solid.
Ravens D is solid and usually good for some TD's.
Gould...frick kickers.
Bess...Consistent #2. Good riddance Ted Ginn.
Hester...Long shot. Will only play him in emergencies or if he starts returning kicks again.
Collie...Always good for single digit points if needed in a pinch.
Heap...Nice backup, IMO.
Gerhart...AP is nicked up several times per year. Just making bets at this point.
Cassel...good backup
Chargers D...Meh!

MSM, You have a great starting 9... your bench is a little bit more shallow than others but i think you have a great mix of stars and potential. Its going to be interesting to see how your team does.
