I think I may be done with the poli-board for a while for the reasons you mentioned and, well, I've just worn out on the thing.

That's not a bad deal Cubs, if you have high expectations for Bryant. Sans Percy Harvin, rookies WR's don't have alot of impact very often, and the Cowboys corps is crowded. But damn that kid has skills

Olson + Bryant for Gates.

IMO Brandon Marshall was the pick of the draft...definitely a lot of value in that pick. Hene will be a very good QB this year and BM will be his favorite target. Looking back I should have grabbed him earlier.

I agree. Brandon Marshall was a great pick... I was going to pick him with the fourth pick of the second round if moss wasn't on the board still

Gumbo, you took Welker way earlier than I thought he would be grabbed. I really wanted the guy and think his knee will not slow him down all that much this year.

I'll have to think about this. I'll make an offer after I get some advice from people not in our league

Yeah, I'm counting on him for good steady and consistent production.

I guess you can only play one QB at a time?

one thing about trades, cubs, is that in order to get them to work, you normally have to experience a bit of pain.

Charles had five carries for 26 yards and three catches for 23 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Buccaneers.
Spin: Charles is cruising along at 7.0 yards per carry this preseason, while backfield mate Thomas Jones slogs his way to a 3.1 yard average. There's been a lot of hubbub about Jones' position at No. 1 on the Chiefs' depth chart, but coach Todd Haley isn't foolish, people. He knows he has one of the league's most talented backs in Charles, and when the games start to count, Charles should be the one getting most of the work. His average draft position (ADP) of 26 seems like pretty good value for a guy who has the upside to easily be a top-10 RB.

Very glad to have him. I was targeting a QB for my 2nd pick, but once I saw Marshall on the board still, I couldn't pass him up. In the end, I got stuck with Cutler, but only could've had Favre or Romo by bypassing Marshall, so no big deal.

I don't know how y'all let him fall so far in a PPR, but I won't complain

Thought about Jones - that report did worry me a bit, but I think he'll still get some good goal line work. He's a good one to have.

BTW, I don't have Henne. My starter is Brees and my backup is dirty Sanchez.

+1
He was definitely on my list as well - great PPR receiver. I faced him twice last year, and he got thrown to every other fricking play it seemed.

Yeah, I was rather distraught when Gumbo pulled him off the board. He was going to be my #5 pick (65). No way I thought he would be gone by then.

Probably because some of us are on a learning curve still.

Still can't believe how quickly qbs came off the board - haven't been involved in many drafts, but I've never seen that
