Steven Jackson is good but doesn't have much upside and is likely to get hurt. But still a top 5 or 6 rb.
Joseph Addai doesnt have much upside and is likely to get hurt. But good pick/value

Philip Rivers is good. Not a top qb though
Dont remember who was on the board at the time
Desean Jackson will have a great year and will score alot
DBowe is a good pick. LSU who has had a good few years
Ahmad is a split rb with jacobs.
Miller has good value
Bush is split rb with Mcfadden
Malcolm Floyd was a good pick.

Jacoby is good pick for spot. Schuab doesn't look to his number two as much as he prbly should..

Giants defense is pretty good aslong as they dont fall into a slump

but I seem to go after the upsides and not the consistents later which if a guy goes down and the bench isn't coming through can hurt me bad

and I only see 5 rb's that "might be, one day" a fantasy bench player if everything goes their way

that waiver order/lock is going to work against you if that happens tho

What are your predictions for our league?

too tough to tell honestly, a single injury could devastate a team, as none of us has legit depth at any position(happens 14 teams)

there are favorites, but that's only maybe a 10 point average advantage, and deviation in scoring can be a near an 80 point spread

last year I ran into a buzz saw when I had the most points scored against me than any other team in my other league...the total point scored against me was 200 points higher than the highest scorer in the league.

so it's all up in the air. I'll propose a trade to you so that you can see how it's done, please don't accept it on accident. You can try the "counter" feature which allows you the ability to change the trade and send it back to me.

I'll break down my thoughts on what I did

7 Frank Gore, SF RB --best available.. Wanted A. Johnson
22 Larry Fitzgerald, Ari WR  -- wanted a high ceiling wr
35 Matt Forte, Chi RB-- like him in ppr and feel he's gonna do well with Martz at the helm
50 Steve Smith, NYG WR-- solid, not overly flashy but will get a chance to have alot of receptions
63 Owen Daniels, Hou TE -- personally love him.. Great all over the field..
78 Pierre Garcon, Ind WR -- panicked a little here and grabbed him without a ton of thought
91 Darren McFadden, Oak RB-- hit or miss but could break out or slide back behind bush.. Needs to stay healthy
106 Ben Roethlisberger*, Pit QB  -- felt like it was time.. I see him coming back after the bye.. Not afraid to have big bonus games..
119 Devery Henderson, NO WR-- depth who will get 4 catches a game with some big gainers and td's
134 Bengals D/ST, Cin D/ST -- nothing special but I like the way they played last year
147 Early Doucet, Ari WR -- homer pick but could be due a break out with Fitzgerald moving on
162 Kyle Orton, Den QB -- I actually really like him.. Position is his and I believe he will build off last year instead of falling off.. A real sleeper for me as he is a must start first 5 weeks
175 Derrick Ward, TB RB -- caddilac will break down.. Terrible team though and doesn't catch alot if balls..
190 Joey Galloway, Was WR -- old and 5 years ago with mcnabb would have been a monster.. Taking a chance he still has the wheels as mcnabb can and will go deep
203 Neil Rackers, Hou K -- fricking kicker
218 Anthony Dixon, SF RB -- insurance for gore

22 Larry Fitzgerald, Ari WR -- Leinart's high lob throwin/telegraphed style scares me about fitz's long term health
50 Steve Smith, NYG WR-- solid, but afraid of compet(nicks, mario, and 3 others)
63 Owen Daniels, Hou TE -- you haven't seen him play yet(lock for week 1)?
78 Pierre Garcon, Ind WR -- too many people, too little targets
91 Darren McFadden, Oak RB-- miss, not good for nfl & not good bet to stay healthy
119 Devery Henderson, NO WR-- hurt...again(will be on bench if he does go off)
147 Early Doucet, Ari WR -- bad homer pick
175 Derrick Ward, TB RB -- likely to lose 2nd string status
190 Joey Galloway, Was WR -- c'mon if Brady couldn't get him the ball with a hurt welker/moss, mcnabb can?
218 Anthony Dixon, SF RB -- good pick

Looks like I've got you week 1. I guess I get a little luck since I won't have to face your #1 qb. Should be a good matchup

My Team:

QB - Cutler
RB - Ray Rice
RB - Reggie Bush
WR - Brandon Marshall
WR - Percy Harvin
RB/WR - Housh
TE - Cooley
D - Texans
K - Prator

Bench:
WR - Breaston
WR - Lee Evans
WR - Arrelious Benn
RB - Donald Brown
RB - Leon Washington
RB - Fred Taylor
QB - Leinart

I like my team as a whole except QB - I'm pretty pissed at myself about taking Cutler in the 3rd (32nd overall). I had the 4th, 25th, and 32nd picks. I really wanted Ray Rice, and was planning on taking a top QB in the 2nd or 3rd depending on how it was going. I thought I would easily get a top 5/6 qb, and felt certain I would at least get a top 8 qb (huge dropoff after #8). Well all y'all fricks started yanking qbs off super early, and all the top 6 were gone by my 2nd pick (25th overall) which was shocking. But B. Marshall was still there so I grabbed him, then Favre and Homo were taken before my 3rd pick, so I panicked and grabbed #9 on my qb list in the 3rd round. Really stupid, b/c of the huge dropoff I probably could've gotten him in the 5th round as well.

So I missed out on a big RB/WR weapon by panicking and I'm still kicking myself over it. That said, I love that I got Ray Rice and Brandon Marshall in a 14-team PPR league - I never would've imagined getting both, so I'm pumped about that. Oh well....

*ETA - Also, I actually forgot about Harvin's fricking headaches - really stupid I know but I was drinking and watching baseball and didn't think it through - oh well, I still think he'll be fine by week 1

you really into this huh little girl? My guess: %ST= % of people who have this player starting

%OWN= not on the waiver wire(% of people that own this player)

+/- = change in recent week

OPRK== dunno; maybe the order of pick at that position

Their sample is from all of our predecessors in all the drafts prior to us. Good luck Cubs.

and another question re: trades - can we only trade for the players that our league drafted? Or can we pick up players that weren't drafted?

It means your opponent player is ranked Xth. Low rankings (like 4th for example) are in red, b/c it means it's a tough matchup for you. If it's a higher number, it's in green b/c that's a favorable matchup for you. Lotta red there
