If that's the case then I would provide screen shots as proof. I think that's fair enough.

At the least it should have gone to a league vote.

I can see making the original judgement call, but if there is contention then it should go to a vote now.

I remember one year a while back someone "accidentally" sent a trade proposal to another owner in my league. He was looking at the analysis tool and accidentally hit send. Or so he claims at least. The other owner quickly accepted it. The commissioner in our league just stayed out of it. There was already a vote system in place for veto'ing trades, so he decided to let that decide it. This was before everyone had smart phones, so I didn't even realize it was happening until it was over. It doesn't help that no one liked the owner who was getting screwed and didn't want to help him out. In hindsight it probably would have been better to stand for fairness.

I'd have zero tolerance for this crap. The next day???? BS. They are lying to you no doubt about it.

20 min, an hour later? Sure. It happens

EDIT: would need screenshots of text. Easy to produce if it's real

Its not even the Hightower thing that really pissed me off. I could live with that. It was the fact that

1- Facebook post made by the person who caught it was deleted before 75% of league could see it. That seems shady.

2- We were then called out on Facebook and being whiney about it.

3- other co-comish posted and explained what happened. Apologized for the way it was handled. (if this was how it was handled to begin with it would have never even been an issue. Just some jabs in fun about the situation, which is what I was doing to begin with anyway) Then other comish comes in saying not to apoligize, a decision was made and if they don't like it they can gtfo.

4- a "trade" was posted between comish and his dad of chargers D for Hightower.

So that's basically saying, i will do whatever the frick I want and frick everybody else.

This definitely sounds pretty sketchy.

The trade is the only part that looks like collusion. The rest is him being an a-hole but not necessarily cheating.

This!

Had something similar happen into a league I'm in. Commish's dad dropped player, apparently it was an accident and he contacted the commish. BEFORE the commish changed the roster and put the player back he notified the league through the message system.

That's the issue. Its when he was called out on it he got all bent out of shape (and actually both of us were joking) and then started deleting shite before the rest of the league could catch wind.

Then when other commish says exactly what this poster said he chimes in with frick it, we decided and they accept it or get the frick out.

Its all a shitty way to run a league when people are dishing out money to play in. I'm the commish and I can do whatever I want...so frick everybody else. It wasn't until this point where I started to think that this is BS.

Also, take note every other response is replied to by this commish, except the time stamp ones.

Has anyone ever accidently dropped someone and that player was put back on and it wasn't a conincidental situation that the player in question was all of a sudden coveted?

It's like, oops I accidently dropped Langford versus I accidently dropped Howard.

If someone can show me where it was an accident and a player no one really wanted then fine, but otherwise it's ALWAYS a lie.(not an accident)

I just looked. He made the transaction for Bibbs at 11:07am Sunday morning. He meant to drop the 4th string RB from Denver. About an hour later we started working on putting Hightower back and dropping the den guy.

It's not like he waited until today when the RBBC reports surfaced. He told us within an hour. By the time one of the commishes got a CPU and figured out how to manually adjust (during the saints game) it was 12:40

Nah man. None of this "about an hour later" nonsense. The exact time of when the guy who dropped him texted/called/emailed you is critical to whether anyone believe him. This is easily verifiable by a time stamp that you can screenshot on your phone.

I don't remember the exact time that Hightower started getting carries in the game, but all of that obviously matters as well.

ETA: I just checked my leagues GroupMe and at 12:31pm there is a post that says "Ingram benched... sucks."

So I think the guy is lying/cheating.
