That's not how it happened at all

We were supposed to start on Monday July 1st but started the Friday before that Monday because people were itching to start and draft. It wasn't as dramatic as you're making it. And no one had an issue with drafting early until the first hamstring pull and then all of a sudden it was like we forced this on everyone

Abdullah not starting tonight and hasn't even been in the game so far. Riddick getting all the work.

A great value pick with a PPR ADP of 8.12 right now. Low risk at that spot with a high potential ceiling

Explain his high ceiling if you don't mind.

To me, he's 2.9ypc when rushing and already saw 99 targets passing last season. His floor is good because he'll likely see close to same targets again.

#49ers conclude practice with Texans. Biggest offensive takeaway: Nobody could keep up with Bruce Ellington 1-on-1. Catch machine today
I'm hoping this guy turns out to be something.

Yeah, I don't think he's got a high ceiling. He doesn't see the redzone touches like woodhead, has a solid weekly floor but a pretty low roof as well.

I mean high ceiling relatively speaking for his ADP. He could get most of the offensive snaps over Abdullah, catch 80 passes and have 4-5 TDs. He won't win you a league but has upside at a low cost. You can do worse as your RB3 for sure.

In Bridgewater's defense his OL was atrocious last year

I like other RBs at that ADP and later with a true higher ceiling. If Abdullah flops or gets injured, IMO Riddick's role doesn't change and Zenner gets the front-end snaps.

This may sound dumb, but I would prefer 33yo Sproles in 15th/16th round to Riddick in 8th round.

Pulled himself out of the practice and walked the entire way without a limp. Probably just tweaked something or thought he tweaked something and is smart enough to not play through it
