Well, I'm wondering where else you get a RB with a gauranteed 20 touches a game in the draft?
Like I said, Bortles brings him down. The defense brings him up. And we all know Yeldon isn't competing!

I'm not drafting him this year because he won't be available when I'd be willing to take him. Cook, Mixon and Mccaffrey would be above him.
Not that he doesn't have the talent but that offense is miserable and the others have shown more ability to catch the ball.

Which is where?
I'm curious to know because as the NFL moves to a more passing game, I want bellcows that deliver 15-20 touches a game out of the backfield.
Especially in standard formats. And that's my big money league. $3,000 to the winner. And I want guys that carry the rock. A lot.

All my leagues are ppr so he gets bumped down for me.
He's definitely going to get the rock and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he's a beast.
I'd say it will also be a product of how the draft plays out. If I go wr, wr first two picks I might look to him in the 3rd or 4th but playing ppr I want someone who is playing all three downs and catching 40+ passes.

He will go in round 1 in most leagues. If he is available after our keepers I will take him at 12 or 13.

Let me ask you this, if not LF what other RB at that position do you feel more comfortable with?
Lynch, Lamar Miller, Crowell?
The fact is they're all mostly RB 2's so you'll either have a strong RB tandem if paired with a first rd RB or you're looking for one of them to be an RB1.
If I am looking for an RB1 out of that mix I'll take the guy with the biggest upside and thats Fournette.
If The decision is Gurley or Fournette, I take Gurley. But I take LF over Lynch, Miller, Crowell, Zeke, Hyde, Davin Cook, etc

I'm avoiding him in round 2 for two reasons: 1) The Jags o-line is complete garbage 2) Jags will be passing a lot because they will always be behind and I'm not sure what LF7's role will be in the passing game

You cite Jags OLine - Cook and Mixon's olines are worse than JAX. And to boot, those guys still have competition for touches. As for CMC, no one knows how he will be used exactly. He has a few good preseason games, everyone goes nuts. He was pedestrian last night, everyone is quiet on him again. Point being, we need to be forward thinking here

Fournette is the rookie with the best position to get the most work and also has the most draft capital invested in him. The logical conclusion is, all else being equal, he is the rookie rb to own. As I see it any other conclusion is just trying to get cute.

It's hard to justify any Jag in the 2nd round due to their offensive struggles. Stack the line to stop LF

He cant carry the rock if he's hurt. Fournette's injury risk is not worth his price tag.
