I'm having difficulty this week picking my guys.

two running backs are obvious. Rawls and Gurley are playing.

Then comes the flex and wr options. Scoring is pretty normal with 6 pts for tds but also 0.3 ppr.

Anyways options are

L Murray vs KC
B. LaFell vs Iggles
D Amendola vs Iggles
Cooks vs Car
K Wright vs Jac
and finally
D Baldwin vs Min

Honestly, I'm probably thinking too much about this.

Currently I have Murray, LaFell, and Amendola starting in those spots.

I don't like Cooks or the Saints offense vs the Panthers.

Wright is not an option at this point. He just came back from injury and hasn't shown anything yet.

The guy with the most upside here is probably Baldwin. Now I have long shied away from Seattle Wrs, thinking they were just bad ideas. However, they are playing Min, which tends to play the run pretty well. Graham just got injured and Baldwin may grab some of those receptions.

So, my thinking is do I sit LaFell and play Baldwin?

My dislike for anything wr from Seattle may be a bad thing here. Since coming back, LaFell has scored..
3.1
5.9
13.7
7.2
7.8
4.8

Balwins last three weeks...
23.5
7.8
37.3

Guess I am kinda answering it myself. Only thing is LaFell is playing the Iggles who have been torched for an amazing amount of points by the hapless Lions and Bucs. And they are now playing the Patriots, who can torch anyone. That is the xfactor.

What do you guys think?

you need 2 WR and 1 flex?

murray has been pretty rough lately, plus KC has a tough run D.

Might lean to just going with 3 WRs

Wouldnt totally rule out Cooks- went for 7/79 in Carolina with McCown at QB. Saints offense is better in the dome.

Amendola- must if he plays. should see heavy targets

Lafell- im playing him too. No Gronk, someone has to see those targets. I think they realized Chandler prob cant withstand that. Plus Philly has given up 25 passing TDs this year

Baldwin- his big games recently have came in shootouts, against teams with good offenses (AZ and PITT). Im not sure the game flow will dictate a big day for him, though you very well could be right, he could be looked to more since Graham is down. I still like him over the other guys

Rawls
David Johnson
Gurley

Forte- split carries nearly 50/50 last week with Langford. Not sure he is 100%.
Allen- just hate his offense

Standard + return yards - i know its dumb as frick

RB: J. Allen, A. Abdullah are in now - Abdullah is #7 in points scored by rb cause of return yards. Also have Ingram, West and L. Murray.

WR: A. Brown, A. Cooper are in now - Also have Hurns and Randall Cobb

So who of the also haves would you put at flex and would you switch out any of my starters?

thanks.

decent matchups for all involved.

you're going to curse me if i tell you to sit Lacy or Dez and they go off.

you're going to curse me if you play Lacy or Dez and they stink it up and the other 2 go off.

Let's face it, the chance of either happening is pretty much 50/50.

With that said, I think I def want to play Dez. And if I want to do that, I dont think I want to play 2 Cowboys together with Matt Cassell as QB. Just trying to hedge here.

Keep in mind though, the best matchup on paper of all 4 of these guys is prob DMac vs the terrible WAS run D. He hasnt exactly lit the world on fire, but he does hold value thru the passing game.

Lacy coming off two 100yd games, could be a trap, but Im telling him to prove me wrong here. I dont think he hits 100 again, but hold out and hope for a goaline score.

I think you have the right guys in now.

Out of all the others, give me the guy in the best offense with the best QB: Randall Cobb

I was hoping Hurns would be able to go. Cobb has the best chance to score a bunch. I'd probably go West if not Cobb but Cobb has the best chance to score a bunch.

I understand that murray has been a bit rough lately. He has been getting yards but has only scored 4 tds the whole year. Last two games have been especially bad. But he got 22 carries last week.

The guy is usually good for 8-12 points. Pretty solid. I hate to mess with good enough. The enemy of good is perfect. Murray is good so far.

But does Baldwin or Lafell bring more to the table? You question Cooks. The problem is the Saints are hit or miss on offense. Yeah, he could get a ton of points, but he could also flame out. He is home, so that does give a little more credence to him.

Its just not an easy choice to make. While I would start Cooks if I had to and not feel bad about it, I don't have too. The other four all have pluses and minuses. As you said, Amendola is a must start as is Rawls. Gurley might not be a must start, but given my team, yeah, he is a should start for me.

So it is three of the four I am still deciding upon. Sounds like you would sit Murray and go with Cooks or more likely Baldwin.

I am playing with the idea of Baldwin over Lafell or Murray...

You go with Aiken over Diggs.

RB, I would take Yeldon and Allen at RB. They are the workhorses in those backfields. Gio and Hill, well you never know what you are going to get.

Just wondering how anyone thinks lafell will perform this week. Crappy defense and he's probably the best wr NE has.

I don't have a clear option to choose over him yet.
