And I'm at 4.00 exactly and easily had more QS or IP than anyone in the league. It's just a matter of playing within the rules and doing what you think is best for you and your roster.

Ok, but that's not what Cockroft was talking about
Look to LE, DJ30, and CQQ for prime examples of "good IP". Not volume IP/QS LE had 4 less QS than you in 242 less IP (was #1 staff, rightfully so)
DJ had 9 less in 128 less IP (was #2 for a reason)
CQQ had 8 less in 137 less IP (#5)
You had a decent enough staff but those 3 are genuine, efficient, good staffs.

I'm not sayin my my staff is good. That's my point. I have a middle of the road staff that I have to make decisions on. I have chosen to start them all and hope for the best in most situations. Therefore, I am susceptible to Hector Santiago dicks in the arse on a regular basis.

look at Urena's start today & then look at Martin Perez's start today and tell me how their 6 IP worth of "outs" are equal.
Cockcroft is wrong. It's far to complicated to just say IP are important because they are getting outs.

Two things I think need to be perhaps discussed heading into next year.
Threshold for at-bats and IP to MiLB eligible players -- just decreased a tad. I don't think heading into next year I really should be able to move Daniel Norris back and forth, jmo. Maybe like 160 innings instead of 200?
Also some punishment for not setting a lineup. One owner missed the IP minimum three times this year. I'm just not a fan of that. Maybe I'm in the minority.

I think the ip for milb guys is 150 or 160 mate
