FWIW
In week 3 or 4 of 2012, a league manager approached me to trade Randall Cobb (a player I picked up off the waiver wire week 1 or 2) and I would receive Demarco Murray (a player drafted top ten). I accepted the trade (eyeing a huge advantage for myself), but the league subsequently vetoed the trade (after huge arguments of how the league was “helping the other manager”). If the trade went thru that league manager would have easily ran away with the league championship (and total points in the league $$$). Instead I rode Randall Cobb into the playoff $$$.
I will always feel bad for that manager because he had his pulse on the fantasy players far better than I that year and our league screwed him.
However, it taught me an important lesson. If no collusion, let managers make their trades.

Is it possible to switch to that after a startup draft?
Not sure. Naive of me to think it would be as simple as importing teams and being done.
Might not even fly with owners who are sitting pretty. I'd imagine they'd be maxed out in cap space or close to it and would be the first to lose their studs once inflation hits. And that isn't what they signed up for.
Being a cellar dweller, it's a selfish suggestion, but also something I've always wanted to do.

There might be fair ways to implement it. Either way it's an idea worth researching. To me, the biggest downside is that it makes the league a lot more work and requires a lot more devotion, which like you said isn't something that people would probably want to get into unless they deliberately signed up for it.

Seems like a lot a lot a lot of work.

That’s stuff we shouldve voted on every year if you didn’t like it. Hell I don’t even remember my stance but I could feel differently after playing a few seasons. Nothing was written in stone, this was uncharted territory for most

I added David Morgan as a place holder for Stanley Morgan who isn’t in the pool

What’s going on ? I see the trade was reversed?
Dirt dawgs, are you going to play out the season?

I’m good with whatever we decide. I do think if DD has questions about his involvement moving forward, trading Tyfreek and Kittle probably isn’t the right thing to do

Trade was reversed. He said he would continue to set lineups, and his team can be had next season. We know we have takers.

So how is everyone doing? Have people cooled down? Are people still bowing out at the end of the year? Any way to patch things up?
Posted on 10/7/19 at 5:43 pm to FatClemanza
I lost a taste for it after the BS but I will evaluate at the end of the season depending on the myopic and apathetic owners
Trading, rosters size appear to be things we may need to have a conversation about in order to keep everyone happy and interested

Losing 3 owners is not the end of the league.
None of the quitters are leaving a shite team. Now if G$ leaves then oh man
