We voted on some of my complaints after year 1

The league spoke its mind then

I only stuck around because backbay asked me to. Now that he’s out, I’ll be leaving as well

Have any rules changed since the league started?

New to Tiggerdroppings but I talked with one of the owners and might be interested in taking over one of the orphans.

I can vouch for Metal Mat, he knows his shite and is very active with dynasty experience (hes in my home league).

Knows TTown Tiger too here who can probably vouch for him.

Restrictions on draft pick trading
How rounds 2-4 draft order are determined

These two I’m hell bent on and my mind won’t change, and we voted after year 1. I lost.

Roster size
Starting roster size

There’s no FA in this league. It’s boring.

These are my main issues. League is just not for me.

When you say FA what do you mean? I don't use the ESPN fantasy platform so I'm not familiar with it but would it be possible to get a link posted so I could see the teams and possibly the rules?

Because of the size of the league (number of teams and roster size) there is not much (close to none) value in free agency, and there isn't much activity there during the year. Some would say that this is typical of dynasty leagues because there is emphasis on long term holds rather than week to week starts. More of a feature of the format than a defect. But I can see the criticism compared to other leagues where working the waivers is a big part of the game.

How draft order 2-4 is set was something that I didn't like, and I believe I voted against. I'm not sure about which restrictions on draft pick trading he's referring to though.

As for roster size and starting lineup size size, those are things I liked about this league.

It's a dynasty league, the waiver wire should be tumble weeds, part of the format. It's not for everybody. Gotta make trades to improve unless you get lucky or else you end up jumping up and down in celebration getting Obunbowale and JD Mckissic off the wire.

shite, weren't we supposed to revisit this? Felt like people wanted to allow future draft picks trading.

Not familiar with the alternatives proposed.

Ekeler, MVS, Waller, Aaron Jones, Tyrell Williams,...I'm trying to keep positive and tell you it's not that bad, FA finds do happen but yeah, I just resigned myself to understanding this isn't baseball.
Rosters are deep but everyone has equal chances to jump on a future starter should one pop up.

I'd like to keep this league together, and I'll volunteer as taking on commish responsibilities if Gyno decides that he really wants to step down and if everyone else is ok with that.

Anyway, as far as I'm concerned you can have first dibs on the team, but there's a lot of season left, and this is probably better revisited in the offseason, unless someone else has a better notion. At that time when things have cooled some we can have more in depth exploration of the future of the league.

That's fine by me, let the teams play out and we will come back to it later but I am interested.

Agreed on both of last two points.

The way I see it is all of this dialogue is good to get out in open. Rarely if ever will 14 people agree completely on anything-it's why people hate talking about politics lol.

BUT, I dont see the harm in bringing this stuff up and hashing out year round. Dialogue is good to ensure people understand the rules and WHY we decide to make decisions we do.

Some people hate rocking the boat, I'm a sales guy....communication is everything.

Will Dissly. They are few and far between but they do happen.

I just blew my entire budget on Phillip Dorsett.

I got a proposal for next season that would keep the league fresh. 3 words. Salary. Cap. Dynasty.

Oof. For sure would keep things moving and keep rosters from getting stale. I will have to do a lot of research to figure out the different options.
