Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey (ankle) was activated from injured reserve and is practicing regularly Tuesday.
Updating a previous item, it seems CMC has shed the red non-participation jersey and donned a helmet at Tuesday's practice. This could indicate he has some chance of suiting up Thursday night against Atlanta. His Tuesday and Wednesday practice status will prove critical

HC Matt Lafleur stated: holding him out last week "definitely helped him but he's got to continue to improve and get better each day." It sounds like the Packers are going to be extra-cautious with their star RB. This is a big blow for fantasy managers fighting to make the playoffs. Jamaal Williams proved he's the Green Bay back to own, and slots in as an RB2 in Jones' absence.

Lunatik, are you praying for Jones to be in or out? I'm asking because my team would really benefit from him being out, and I'm offended you would pray for my team to suffer if that is, in fact, what you were doing.

After missing a month with core-muscle surgery, things appear to be trending in the right direction. It's unknown what Lazard's availability will be moving forward but a return to action in Week 8 or 9 isn't out of the question. Lazard had a huge day in his last game before being injured, posting 6 receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown versus New Orleans. He should slot right in as a WR3 with upside when he's back in Green Bay's starting lineup.
