Past 3 weeks:
Michael Gallup: 194 snaps, 17 targets
Cedrick Wilson: 55 snaps, 17 targets

Not sure how much to take away from this with the QB change though.

To me, the targets are most important. Snaps only tell you the percentage of targets per snap, which is not a likely indicator of usage, especially when you think about blocking duties and other reasons a WR might be useful on the field.

What I take from yesterday's game relevant to the above is (1) that Cedrick Wilson can do all kinds of stuff, and the coaching staff is gonna find ways to get him involved in the game, and (2) Andy Dalton is acquainted with Michael Gallup, knows how to get the ball to him, and may have started him on his fantasy team yesterday.

I've got no HSO on what happened or didn't happen with Amari Cooper.

Crazy that Chase Claypool only ran 23 pass routes yesterday. That was third most on his own team (Washington 32, JuJu 31)

Most red-zone TD receptions this season:

Adam Thielen - 5
Mike Evans - 5
Jimmy Graham - 4
Robert Tonyan - 4

Mike Evans is seeing career-lows in target share (18%) and air yard share (23%) and that's without Chris Godwin for most of the season.

Seahawks WR air yards in Week 5:

DK Metcalf 189
David Moore 69 (nice)
Tyler Lockett 16
Freddie Swain 10

What in the world is going on with Lockett the past two weeks?

Chiefs’ WR Sammy Watkins is expected to miss time, “possibly a couple weeks”, with a hamstring injury that doctors still are evaluating, per source. Chiefs scheduled to play at Buffalo and at Denver the next two weeks.

Hardman should be a decent upside play for a few games.

Maybe. You just never know which guy is gonna get the targets outside of Hill and Kelce.

Sammy Watkins (hamstring) left after 21 routes yesterday. Rest of KC WR routes run:

* Tyreek Hill 49
* Demarcus Robinson 41
* Mecole Hardman 39
* Byron Pringle 10

Tyler Higbee now down to a route on 51.5% of the LAR dropbacks, which ranks 30th among all TEs and below guys like Herndon, Dan Arnold, Ryan Izzo, and Drew Sample.

I must not understand the air yards for David Moore. He got me zero and I may lose because of it.

Played him because I only needed 5 pts and had Henry and Diggs.

Didn’t want to chance Diggs not playing, so I figure Moore would get 2-3 points and Henry would get the rest.

Air yards is how many yards the ball travels when a player is targeted. Obviously the farther down the field your player has an opportunity to catch the ball the more points they can score.

He was targeted yesterday. Just wasn’t the go-to guy when they were behind.

I think Lockett could be dinged up and may have post bye upside as he gets a little healthier and defenses start to treat Metcalf as the WR1 he has become.

Dalvin Cook isn’t expected to play this Sunday against the Falcons after suffering an adductor strain, according to a source. The Vikings have a bye next week, then will re-evaluate if Cook is ready to return after that.
