Eight years of Vance (or DeSantis, etc.) would basically make Jackson the only Dem appointee

Thomas' baggage is adding up. It is an ideal time for him to retire. Alito has the most brilliant mind on the court. Keep him until he wants to go.

Sotomeyer is an activist. In the wrong way.
I don't see her letting Trump, or any Republican replace her if she can do anything about it.
