Xennial at best (like me).

Obama is kind of on the border of GenX/Boomer, but I don't think people will claim him on here

Gen X is born 1965 1980. Vance was born in 1984. I think makes him a millennial if I’ve got my generation nicknames right.

I’m 4 years older than Vance and considered the first year of the millennials by most metrics (81).

The other interesting thing is that we will never have a president born in the 1930s or (likely) in the 1950s.

Yeah, when you are a small generation sitting between the 2 largest generations, we tend to miss out on such things.

1950s is very surprising as it was the height of boomerism. 1957 had the highest birthrates of any year in the last century.

Considering the youngest Gen Xers are only 44, I think your generation will get at least one POTUS in.

Another interesting item, Clinton, Bush, and Trump were all born in the summer of 1946 in reverse order (August, July, and June) respectively.

I think the typical (and “genuinely Gen X” — though a real Gen Xer would scoff at such a concept) response of Gen X would be, “Eh.”
