Been voting just outside of Brookhaven, Mississippi since 2000. Never seen a line, never had to wait. As of now, the line at my precinct is out the door. Just an interesting FYI.

Trump’s winning the popular vote.

Would love to see the states with their stupid popular vote pact be forced to give their votes to Trump.

That’s why it’s so important to get out and vote even in strong Republican states.

first time voting here in MS will be today. I can’t believe you guys don’t have early voting here. I’m already expecting I’ll be standing in a line 2 hrs long which is why I didn’t go before work.

My understanding is that it doesn't go into effect until enough states enter the pact to guarantee an EC win. But of course, dems rarely see the letter of the law as an impediment to their foul schemes.

The state of Colorado voted that their electoral votes go to the winner of the popular vote OF THE ENTIRE US, not the state itself.

If it limits fraud it's worth every minute spent standing in line

7:00 am in Madison and it was wrapped outside the church and all the way around behind and down the road. Never seen it like that.

Popular vote pact is not in effect yet because it is written up so that it will only be implemented after they get 270 EV worth of states to sign onto it

My precinct in Biloxi has never had a line out of the building. This morning there are several hundred people in line outside.

I’ve been reading into this and do not think it’s the case. I think they voted to join the popular vote pact. The popular vote pact mechanism only goes into effect once enough states join to form 270+ votes, but it’s only at 212 right now

I think the confusion is because Colorado was the most recent state to join (2020) so it’s more fresh in people’s minds. But the popular vote pact was started in 2004

Showed up at my Lee county precinct 30 minutes before open. Was 30th or so in line.

Probably 200 people in line before I left just after 7.

People pouring in as I was driving away.

SOLID red county.

If this enthusiasm is matched nationwide, hoo boy.
