I am sure you are a good guy and there are lots of good postal folks out there. But that agency is awful as a whole. It's a mess that needs straightening out.

Management at his station is now made up of all the incompetents.
That is because DEI laws and the post office suffers from it. Hell, DEI impacted the Secret Service and you see women cannot even holster a pistol.

I believe Trump is best for society but damn, he is about to start attacking the post office again. Any bets on when I hit the unemployment line?
You're going to get a lot of hate on here because you are "an evil government employee".
To address your point though: the postal service has become bloated and horribly inefficient. With fewer people doing things via mail (other than junk mail), there's less need for as many employees but we've seen hiring increase every year since COVID with numbers reaching levels we haven't seen in over a decade.
If you don't have the seniority in to escape any possible cuts, start working now to enhance some skill you have to make you an attractive employee for the private sector. If you think you can survive cuts, hone your work ethic to the point where your office can't afford to lose you.
A recession is coming, this has been true regardless of who would win. The best place to be in such a scenario is high enough (and important enough) in a government job to weather the storm. You have time to prepare now, make the most of it.

Good the post office is a government scam. Contract it all out. Very first thing that should be abolished. Everyone get email and go paperless Imagine the fuel and trees that’d be saved.

I've followed you for a while, even on the discord. I love your posts.

What has he "attacked" the Post Office for?
He was mad tweeting about the post office every other week

I'd like to learn what he was saying that you believe was so mean.

No Federal gig is safe, nor should they be.
Polish up the resume, and Godspeed.

Contracted mail will be even less safe. It's the contract drivers that steal money. Full time employees have too much to lose. TSP, retirement, 140 annual leave hours per year, and an ever ticking Sick Leave allotment each paycheck that continues to rollover year by year.

Why does the post office suck? Be a better service and stop asking for handouts. People are tired of handouts.

A lot of y'all need to hit the unemployment line, I swear mail only runs at my house every other day. When the post office stops losing money let me know

Your mail carriers suck arse
Your management sucks arse
Never deliver mail on time
You overcharge for a simple letter (0.69 cents right now give or take)
You were complicit in 2020 steal
I hope your whole entity gets cleaned out.
With that poor attitude you'll probably be management there soon enough
