My co-workers keep saying how racist he is but can't give one quote or example to defend other than stating opinion by media. The guy is about as non-racist as it gets for republicans. Minorities are much better off with him than pretty much any other republican candidate. Shows how ignorant people are.

The average person has below average intelligence. Just look at yogagirl, she apparently has the IQ of a genius but is a functioning retard.

Exactly this.

It's a world of soundbytes and perception.

They ignore lines when he said that he hires minorities, and his company is better for it and this country is better for having them here for the sake of the narrative they want to push.

And the media at times tries to make a point to avoid showing minorities who support him.

Damn, got the dreaded last post on pg 1... re-posting:

quote:

I think the idea that Trump was racist/fascist/etc. stems from the fact that Trump has been largely un-PC. He's thrived in being in the limelight for decades now by being largely unfiltered. If a man offends him, he'll insult the guy right back-- whether based on intelligence, looks, being retarded or afflicted, etc. If a woman offends him, he'll insult them just the same... He seems very equal opportunity that way. In my experience, the vast majority of people do the same in private; very few people have their arguments & spats with others become public soundbites.

I was listening to an obscure podcast a few months back and the guy made a very brilliant point which I think is applicable here: If I remember correctly, he was on a general tangent about how you can't legislate morality. True morality comes from within. There's use for laws but when you start coming up with law upon law, it becomes impossible for anyone to keep track of and this dilutes overall respect for the law (using the example of how many mostly law-abiding citizens still break the law in ways such as speeding)... From there it was a slippery slope to PC-- legislating what's okay to say or not. And the truly brilliant point (imo) he made was that it leads to a society in which it is more important what you say than what you do.

As it played out here, Hillary was the one who-- as a leader-- would say all the right, PC things. But the more we learned about her, we could see that what she spoke did not match her actions. (It's astonishing to me just how much of the country wanted her based on her words when those words meant absolutely nothing coming from her... but that's another point.)

I can't say definitively that Trump is the opposite. I don't know enough about what his actions will be to believe he will do the right things... but I'm hopeful. But it's very true that he was overtly un-PC at times, with comments like Mexicans are rapists and what not. And there was little doubt that the uber-PC liberals would try to try to tar him with labels like racist, xenophobic, mysogynistic, etc.

Trump just ended up being the right combination of tough and brash to make himself the right man at the right time. The fact that he wasn't afraid to talk shite almost derailed him a couple of times, but it ended up being a net asset... He was the mouthpiece for a lot of people who wanted to talk shite the same way and who were happy to see someone be able to withstand the attacks and scrutiny he faced and not be put into corner.

its hyperbole based off his "build the wall"

What's funny is if Trump actually starts building a wall and enforcing the law that will be quickest way to immigration "reform".

Hillary had the BLM, New Black Panther Party, Al Sharpton, La Raza and other racists behind her. I guess she is racist too.

Yup. That's a better way of saying what I posted... Perception (what you say) has been becoming more important than what you are or what you do.

It's sad that legit concerns like racism and sexism were reduced to simple political mudslinging. These are not accusations to throw around lightly, and doing so like the Left did, is a giant insult to real work being done in those areas.

Trump has many legit issues, but racism and sexism (at least at the functional, objective level) aren't among them. He makes use of the best person he can find to do something. He wants the best, smartest people on his side, to give him the best advantage. If they happen to be black, female or gay, I don't think he gives a shite.

the ONLY time someone responded

"He ran on the republican ticket."

"that doesn't answer the question at all"

"Yes it does."

It's all they have in the way of shallow campaign tactics founded in any number of false narratives perpetuated by the MSM.

Well that and he's attractive to well known racists like David Duke and the KKK, who endorsed him.

I'm sure if Robert Byrd was still alive he would have endorsed Hillary.

The KKK argument is seriously the most egregious lie that Democrats say.

First there really isn't a KKK anymore estimated maybe 5k people nationwide.

Second The democratic party was the party that comprised the KKK when they actually existed and their membership was in the millions.

But the Democrats are very very very good at propaganda. They are experts at telling a lie over and over again until suckers believe it.

They call Republicans racists and they are the ones who started a civil war when Lincoln won the white house.
They instituted all of the Jim Crow laws.

They killed and lynched Republicans who were working to get Blacks the vote.

They tell you how they were at Selmna during the King March which is true, But they were the ones throwing things and calling the marchers racist names.

Democrats like George Wallace ran on slogans of segregation today segregation tomorrow segregation forever.

But you may argue that Johnson signed the civil rights bill of 1964. Yes he did but when he did it he said "Now I'll have them **** voting democrat for 100 years"

Lets look at what democrat policies have done to Black neighborhoods and families.

They now have more than 60% fatherless homes.
Their neighborhoods look like war zones in 3rd world countries. They kill each other in the streets and crime is rampant.
These weren't republican policies that caused this because these places have had Democrat Mayors and leaders for 50 to 70 years.

Racism is the History of the Democratic party, I've lived through it, I know their ways and I won't ever forget.

Racism is the Democrats they own it.
