That was such a fitting moment for the end of the Clintons' political career. fricking poetic.
I don't disagree, and I wholly enjoyed the entirety of the night, but even though he deserves all of it, it was still a little tough to watch.

Given how wrong all the polls where on this and the media beating, do you really believe any approval or unfavorable ratings being thrown around right now?
You really think Obama has a 53% approval rating?

No.

All I saw was mangled spirit cooking fingers.

For the most fleeting of moments, I actually felt sorry for the guy.
You're a pussy
Certainly plausible.
As someone else said, it was almost like a public execution. I understand that the majority won't be fazed because he deserves it, and I'm not arguing otherwise, but I was taken back for a moment by seeing someone so defeated.

No. Come on, slackster! Think this through. Podesta has become very wealthy by doing a job that he really enjoys and he's pretty good at it. HRC's losing is nothing more than a big disappointment for him.
In the long run, he will see that HRC's loss will give him more time to devote to helping his daughter become viable force in national Democrat politics. Podesta wants his daughter to become a viable candidate for POTUS at some future point. He wants to help her go in that direction.
So now Podesta can devote his considerable talents to helping his own daughter instead of a flawed character, HRC.
Don't feel sorry for Podesta. He is VERY well off AND his own daughter will, I predict, one day run for POTUS as the Democrat candidate.

No argument here. If he is in fact a pedo, all bets are off.

I don't on the whole, only in that very moment.

That dude did his best to foist HRC on me for 4 years as POTUS.
I would not feel sorry for him if he was on fire

Nope. Was laughing the whole time.

Not for him, but for her supporters (in a non-partisan way).
Specifically, how in the frick do you send Podesta to tell everyone go go home and "we'll look at this in the morning, keep your hope", and then call Trump to concede less than an hour later? These people deserved to hear from their candidate. She asked them to invest a lot of time and effort into her, at least come and finish the job, and thank them.
Possibly the most cowardly and petty moment I've seen in US politics, something I wouldn't have expected from someone who's been in this game so long.
