So you're saying, to mock shitty reboots, he himself made a shitty reboot?

I'm saying Kevin Smith wanted to mock shitty reboots but by being 2019 Kevin Smith, he made the movie into a shitty reboot.

So he had a message and kinda achieved it, but it was aggravating and a bit lackluster.

There’s just not really much below the surface with Smith. His ideas have always been sophomoric.

Reboot is just soooo bad. The film tries to hard to be a feminist ally. Basically every line uttered by a female character, including Holden, is a feminist talking point.

Get laid or a bj during the movie because of feminism, but I know you guys don’t watch movies with females so yeah.....

That’s what I did back in 2001 for the initial Jay and Silent Bob, so nostalgia is great. You guys just don’t get it.

Got one of my first bjs to the original, you guys trying to beat off to this movie are going to be disappointed

I went to the Q&A thing he did in NOLA where he showed the movie. It was a really fun evening and I really enjoyed it, but yeah the movie isn't very good.

It was more fun than it actually is because of the audience I was with, but its just not very good.

I have no hopes for Clerks 3 and Mallrats 2 (which he said he is filming at Esplanade)

I have been a fan of most of Kevin Smiths movies.

I never have been. I right at the age range where you would expect that I would be, or would have been, but I just never found them funny.

And he forced his daughter into the movie as a main character and she was just awful.

Thanks for not posting her pic. Seriously.

And who names their fricking kid "Harley Quinn"?

The “reboot vs remake” discussion with Jason lee had me rolling.

That was a great scene - Lee brought it and did a great job.

Jason Mewes kinda looks a crack/meth hoe that is arrested every now and then at downtown Super 8s. Feel bad (cause I know he has had some serious drug issues) that I couldn't get past his appearance - fake teeth and all - for most of the movie.

An admitted comic book nerd.

That was the most distracting thing. His face just . . . seems so different now.

If you didn’t laugh at the Mitch and Murray speech why did you watch this at all? Other than that...yeah it sucks.
