Trump is the leader.
What's our platform?

The American electorate doesn’t have the attention span nor nuance needed for a 3rd party to be accepted.

And it's the last thing the political/governing apparatus wants so yeah DOA.

This sounded like a better idea in my head.

A “Critical Thinkers” party.
But yeah, I would love to see a third alternative to the current form or political theater.

Trump is essentially creating a "3rd Party"; he's co-opting the Republican Party and therein the de-facto creation of a 'never-Trump' Faction/'Party'.
Hell, just the other day some high-up political Strategist was positing the idea of pitting a POTUS Candidate (like Romney, Kasich, etc.) against Trump in States that he only won by a marginal vote. The right Candidate would supposedly siphon off just enough for Trump to lose. I think it was Rush that commented on this scenario.
Honestly, I think the volatile and feeling-based Dems are more likely to overreact to the inner-Party inflammatory bombs that Trump will be lobbing that the Conservatives. Trump has the Aces. By this time next year (Declass, etc.) the whole dynamic will be 180.

Totally agree. But how often does a personality like Trump come along? It takes a man of his abilities to pull this off. A flopping fish like the Bushes, Obama or Biden can ascend to power when they have the backing of at least one of the parties, but to overcome both is likely a once in a lifetime experience.

Cant have a 3rd party in the face of globalist /socialist push from the left. Socialists will drive the conflict to the point of capitulation or their own destruction as they have in every other nation state they’ve attempted to subvert.
The RNC will either be purged of the RINOs by Trump and friends or it will go back to being the Washington Generals who serve the role of lovable losers as the march to globalism/socialism continues on.
THIS! Cannot be better stated.

I want to name the GOP - the Grand Old Constitution Party - and let the GOPe go find a 3rd party to house their extra-constitutional desires.

Sadly, true, t06.
But if your astute analysis comes to pass - even with RINOs minimized, but with the Illegal vote factored in - there IS a likelihood of a "3rd Party" that will arise. And that 'Party' won't be soliciting votes...as they will realize that 'votes' (pure Democracy/"mob rule" version) IS the problem. The Left already champions (a pure) Democracy, as they import their future Electorate, to enable their "fundamental change".
So, when Constitutional America (the Red on that Map) realizes that vote has become 'rigged'...they have only two options. Yours, "lovable losers"...or a line in the sand backed up with "guns and religion". This scenario is a virtual fait-accompli, if Trump can not persuade enough of the electorate to turn back from Democratic Socialism...to Constitutional Principle.
Definitive time. "Soul of the Nation" is indeed at stake.

This is the man's most signal achievement - and will warrant a spot on Rushmore if he can survive the banzai attacks coming his way for the new 2 years.
It was my feeling that the could NOT pull this off that prompted my opposition to him during the primary in '16. = I saw no possibility that he could win, and did not like his persona - but I was 100% behind his stated goals - just didn't think he was serious enough to win and get it done.
I am joyously proud to have been WRONG about everything but his persona. Now I'd stop a bullet for him in his capacity as POTUS.

Pro-Environment
Pro-Research (expand gov funding)
Mostly Anti-Interventionist foreign policy
Pro-Space dominance & Exploration
Reform immigration system to make working here easy and build wall
Lower taxes on lower/middle class.. offset by reductions in foreign aid and small across the board cuts to fedgov
Dramatically shrink active duty army and move funding to space force and nasa
Socially liberal.. legalize most/all drugs, lgbtq friendly, and kick the evangelicals to the curb

If third parties had a realistic chance of success...bernie wouldn't have been a Democrat during the 2016 election.
If trump were to head up a third party... it wouldn't really have a footprint. All massive social media platforms would erase all traces of it..except for trump on Twitter. All msm wouldn't mention it..aside from maybe labeling it a hate group.
The traction of this potential third party would be less than the green party, imo.
This third party wouldn't even be able to buy political ads. Well, they could buy some slots on the oan network. But, the bit networks wouldn't sell them slots.

I totally agree with every bit of this. Trump has taken over the (infiltrated by Global Elitist), old and tired GOP.
It is much easier to repopulate it(GOP) with Constitutional Patriots, than it would be to grow a new party from the ground up. Our problem is, organization, Grassroots Organization.
We don't have Community Organizers to do our work for us. We have left that to our public schools and institutions of higher learning, that have been infiltrated by the oppositions Community Organizers.
In short. We have failed in our duties to teach our children who we are, where we came from and where and why we should be going as a nation. We left it up to the government and then turned our backs on our progeny.
No Nation will rise above its homes. No success in the world can compensate for failure in the home.
Will our nation endure?
