I hope this the right board to ask this on.

Does anyone here use it and if so what package do you have, is it any good, any info you can give me on overall pro's and con's.

I use the basic package during football season and cancel during offseason. It's got a better interface than sling IMO.

I have a permanent ban on ESPN but 2 years ago it was great. I used it when it was first blowing up so their network wasn't congested. I have no clue how well it runs now.

Back then I used whatever package had ESPN. I think they have bumped their rates a bit the last couple of years. I recall paying about 40 bucks and I think the package is higher now.

I'm on the week long trial right now. It's working well. I'm using the $50 package but will probably drop it down a level before the week end. But I Really want boomerang to watch loony toons

Edit: the $50 package has all the sports channels too. MLB network, sec network, etc.

I enjoy it. I have the $45 package...I'll probably cancel once basketball ends and re-up in the fall.

I have the Core Package ($45/month i think)

I've tried Sling and YouTube TV. Still prefer PSVue.
Better interface. Works well on different devices (mine: iPhone, iPad, Roku4, AppleTV, and PC).

I have Core which pretty much gives me everything I would have watched with cable TV.

The interface is hard for some family to use since I use my PS and controller for the main TV.

For the most part I really like it although sometimes I lose the stream and fast forward and rewind are kind of wonky.

Either way, a lot better than paying 80 a month for mostly the same thing with cable TV. My PS Vue and internet (30Mb down) are less than $100 which you can't beat.

Yeah, this is what I do and it basically but my cable/internet bill in half...

Also if you run into any issues with the interface, I'd recommend buying the actual remote control for a PS4, it makes life so much easier

i probably have waaaay more internet than i need. $100 for 350MB (Comcast). But i hardly ever have buffering issues with PSVue itself. WatchESPN even with my bandwidth can be an a-hole on a regular basis. My complaints is that with live sporting events I'm 2 minutes behind people with actual cable. So I have to kind of wait to respond to txt messages or group chats from friends to avoid spoiling upcoming plays.

definitely room for improvement here.

my wife only uses it on the Roku (living Room TV) and AppleTV (bedroom TV). Those remotes are really simple. (up, down, left, right, enter, back, and options buttons)
She really likes the interface and the adjustment period didn't take long.

I should probably get a remote for the PS. The main concern is when my MIL and FIL are watching the kid, despite having shown them a million times, cannot remember how to use it. Even if I get a remote a lot of the trip up comes when having to switch between Vue and Amazon/Netflix.

I have the $50 package and love it. It has all my sports channels including Fox sports southwest for the Pels games. I love that it has DVR, On Demand, and the ability to create a favorite channels and shows list. Vue is now hosting your local NBC, FOX, and CBS stations as well

I had the $54 package for about 4 months. My internet isn't great, so I just got tired of the buffering.

I do like the service. I wish it were easy to scroll the channel menu.

If you have a good internet connection, it's definitely worth it. Don't hold your breath for a lot of local channels though.

that’s dependent on your location. I have them all here in Houston.

I love it but I use it with Apple TV. It's much easier to maneuver the interface with the Apple remote than the PS controller.

I live 3 hours from Dallas and get Dallas locals

despite it trying to force me to Wichita Falls/Lawton. It won't let me change my location so I wont complain.
