After watching the way our lameduck coach should have been 4-0 in November this year, I am beyond ready for next year and see how we do with BK

Year 1 is going to be a major culture reset so don’t expect huge things immediately, think more 8-5 but the team is more organized and focused and improves as the season goes on.

Year 2 is when we can look to really getting back to LSU football.

I fricking hate playing the sisters of the poor in late November.

It's been that way for like 6 years now the weekend before Aggy.

This^^ I mean going from 6-6 to 9-4 would be a big jump IMO. Anything above .500 is a move in the right direction. It’s the perfect scenario for a new HC.

At absolute best, 10-2

Reasonable is 8-4, maybe 9-3

I disagree. LSU would have won three games more this year alone with just better coaching and Boutte in the lineup (Arkansas, Bama, and Auburn). Probably should not have lost to UCLA either. This team was not far from 9-10 wins this season. I honestly think this can be a 10-win team immediately.

Do we know for sure that OU and Texas aren't coming in 2022?

like always, get past Auburn at the Barn and LSU should be undefeated heading into the SWAMP. (I feel like I say this every season... )

I think Kelly comes in year 1 and resets the trend. We will be in the hunt for CFP next year, and worst case scenario we get a NY6 bowl. The team this year could have EASILY been in the CFP w a marginal coach. Kelly will fix that immediately and we will see heart, grit, toughness on a level we haven’t seen since Saban. I cannot WAIT until next season!

If you're talking talent on the outside / skill positions then I think you're right. Our O-Line sucks and we lose what, at least 3 guys after this year? I don't see how the new faces don't take a few lumps. Add in the potential of a new starting QB, and I think 8 wins is doable but 10 is asking a lot in the first year.

Tennessee at home. First time they will have been to Baton Rouge since 2010 when we lost and then won.
