I saw a post on Instagram saying mavs are gauging trade interest on him. I believe I’ve seen mavs are interested in zo. Would you move zo and Adam’s for porzingis?

If the Pels management even remotely consider this for one second, the entire front office needs to be fired on the spot.

Has he been bad?

No.

Is he still the "Unicorn" that was going to rule New York?

Absolutely not.

Kristaps biggest issue is that he can't stay healthy and he is being paid like a max guy. He's an injury prone glorified stretch big.

Now the case for him would be that he is a stretch big that can also defend the rim, and that's an ideal fit for Zion. But as stated earlier, dude has never been able to stay healthy and you can't trade for an expensive guy that will spend significant amounts of time in street clothes.

Lonzo, Hayes, and JJ works with numbers. Would probably need to add a pick because none of that is particularly valuable unless a third team wants in.

Pels would be gigantic.

Sure for Bledsoe, Hayes, Melli, a 1st in 2030, and a 1st in 2035. Maybe a few 2nds.

A month ago most of the board was ready to move Zo for a 2nd round pick, and lately I’ve been reading that most of yiu now realize we gave up too much for Adams and overpaid him after. But this trade is a fireable offense for the FO lol?

The unicorn is good. Def good enough to be apart of our top 3 with Zion and Bi. But it’s just health issues with him. He’d be an ideal big to run with Zion though. It might be worth the gamble b/c I think zo will get overpaid if we don’t trade him and he hits fa. So we basically trading him for Adams. And old school centers are dime a dozen now and not needed like in the past.

It's one of those things where you'd only want to trade for him if he didn't have the health issues but then he wouldn't be available. The team that trades for Porzingis will need to be in a much more Win Now situation than the Pels to take on that risk. He's a bit like Kevin Love who's wasting away in Cleveland because no team thinks he's worth the risk.

He makes Toni "Mr. Glass" Davis look like a tough player

Nop
1) Porzingis cannot stay healthy (except if Aaron Nelson does a miracle concerning him)
2) He's one of worst pivot defender of the league

It's not because Porzingis does a lot of blocks he's a good defender...
He has Hassan Whiteside's issue : A lot of blocks but a bad defender overall...

Bledsoe, Redick, Hayes for Porzingas, Green and Terry.

They would have to pay to take on a contract of that length for a player that cannot stay healthy.

The Mavs reached out to the Warriors about a Porzingis trade. They are definitely shopping him.

Obviously, as others have said, he's obviously a great fit for our offense. If it weren't for the health stuff, I'd be salivating at the prospect of trading for him.

I’m not interested in his contract. We need to shed salary and get guys in the draft. We need to be ready to strike when THAT guy becomes available. A giant 3pt shooting C who can’t rotate isn’t THAT guy.

Honestly considering how bad our defense is when we supposedly have a top 5 defensive center, and one of the best defenses in the league until his injury was featuring a guy most would argue(rightfully) is below average individually(Christian Wood and the Rockets), I’m less concerned with some of that stuff, but that contract and injury history makes it a big no.

The national guys can often be shite, but one thing some of the Ringer guys pointed out is that the history of guys over 7ft are notoriously injury prone, and the ones with multiple lower body injuries early in their career has been pretty much a universal sign for a short career where they are never reliably healthy.

Porzingas has had multiple knee, foot, and ankle injuries, including a torn acl, and now he is dealing with back issues.

The amount of red flags there is staggering. And tbh, our franchise is probably better off with Porzingas stuck in Dallas because it is going to severely limit the ability for Dallas to build properly around Luka. Porzingas on Dallas makes us better relative to our chances to win in the future basically.

That's why I am also afraid for Victor Wembanyama (he is already hyped at USA).
Victor is a 7'2 guy which had already a fibula injury and he plays like Porzingis...

If Victor Wembanyama and Emoni Bates are on the same draft, I would bet on Emoni Bates...
