which tells you more about Hayes than it does about Willy. Replacing him (Willy) will cost next to nothing.

The main problem is I do not see Bledsoe in the future plans even though he is a good player. He is taking up a large portion of the cap

Bled is simply a decent stop-gap player on a solid salary that the FO hopes to use in a trade. Don't worry, he isn't a long-term piece.

He still hasn't improved his FT%

He is at 74% for the season and 84% in February.

He had a better game than Booker.

I am not saying Lonzo is perfect, but he has gotten much better. He is a long athletic guy who can handle the ball. As a third option he is looking rather solid right now and he will be cheaper and not cost additional picks. He also has no desire to be a guy who wants to be the big time scorer like BI. So he will be happy to fill a role.

if Lonzo is chasing around the other team's best players, he's not doing so hot. Morant just had 28, Booker just had 23 (shooting 50% from the field), and Dame put up 43.

Morant is 4/12 with 4 TOs vs Ball this year
Booker is 9/19 with 4 TOs
Dame 6/17 with 1 TO

Combined 39.5% from the field with 7 TOs, if my math is correct

So much wrong with this post. It's sad to see people actually believe this.

Look 2 posts above you..

Just because a player puts up XX amount of points, doesn't mean he was covered by the same guy every possession

Kira is really bad at shooting

I really don’t know what you used to make this conclusion unless you’ve only watched one game this season and it happened to be the game he went 0-4

Right now he’s 33% from 3, before going 0 for 4 last game, he was sitting at 38% from 3. He was a mid to upper 30s shooter from 3 in college. Pels players + SVG + draft analysts all were giving high praise of his shooting earlier in the year. Pretty sure BI and SVG said he was their best 3pt shooter in practice

Langdon is going to draft a high risky player with beta attitude.

SVG won’t play him in the lineup because he’s a rookie.

there should be a thread all season for pessimism and depression.

guy posts that there are 5 really good ones and some starters and you find negative things to spew.
must you?
jeez.

This is a bad post.

Even if we have a high lotto pick. The scenarios are

Griffin is going to trade it for more picks or a vet.

If we have a top-five pick, how much do you want to bet that we don't trade it for more picks? The circumstances of the trade of the #4 pick have been explained many times, and some people like you still want to pretend that it was something else, because you just want to be dishonest.

Langdon is going to draft a high risky player with beta attitude.

Is Kira a beta? Was he a risky player when drafted?

quote:

SVG won’t play him in the lineup because he’s a rookie.

Do you not see Kira in the lineup regularly?

Quit pretending to be a Pels fan. Go to the MSB and fellate the Lakers or something.

He would trade the 4 pick again this season for 10 2nd rounds choices over the next 20 years. The guys is a freaking joke with personnel moves.

Lonzo chasing around the best opposing player doesn't make him a good defender. It just says that outside of him, there are much much worse defenders. second, if Lonzo is chasing around the other team's best players, he's not doing so hot. Morant just had 28, Booker just had 23 (shooting 50% from the field), and Dame put up 43.

Yes his shooting has improved. But it took him a year and a half to drive the basketball. He still hasn't improved his FT%, he still can't create for others in the half-court, & he still makes low IQ plays. I will have zero regrets and sleep like a baby when he leaves New Orleans

So, you don't watch the games...

few superstars / franchise players and a few all stars kind of deep?
Or just a couple of really good ones at the top and then good talent spread throughout?

the op said.

5 super
10 other potential all stars.

go back and read the op.

my guess is the pels make the 7 10 games (playin) and miss out on the lottery and all the super and all stars.

lonzo has found his 3 pt form.
pels vs AD and LeBron in round 1.

Nope. If anyone knows me, they know I will give the HONEST TRUTH and am not afraid to eat crow and admit a poorly aged take. Hayes benching and his approach to it was something unexpected based on the character traits he displayed. When evaluating talent sometimes we forget the human element of these guys which allows them to naturally grow or change. Can honestly say I am proud to be wrong about him and and hoping for big year for the kid.
