Anyone know if you have to park in designated areas there?

Went hunting and returned to a parking ticket on my truck.

Woodworth cops will screw you every way possible. Surprised you didn’t get a speeding ticket as well.

Heading to dads for thanksgiving around 2014 I get popped for 30/25. Writes me a seat belt ticket that I pay with cc the following week. One year later receive an official letter from the village informing me they are issuing a bench warrant for my arrest. Call wwpd and find out the person handing fines had been misappropriating those funds in a round about way. Faxed copy of cc statement and no bench warrant. They’re cocksuckers

You are lucky he wasn't there waiting for you. Crack in your windshield, ticket! No water in wiper tank, ticket! Oh, you didn't change your address within 10 days of moving, Ticket!

There is a reason a place like that with no work or population has so much nice shite!

I live there and I got a ticket for parking right beside the wood line to hunt, well off the right of way.
This page can't hold the disdain I have for that bunch of Barney Fifes.

I’ve only scouted it a few times you like it? I hunt a good bit in kisatchie right there.

I called the PD this morning and all she could tell me was I was blocking a right away. (I still don’t know what that means).

Called WLF and the agent said he didn’t think I was in the wrong and said you should be able to park anywhere but did say the wood worth PD give them problems when they hold their annual rodeo and they have to get permits to allow people to park along the hwy so sounds like the pd is a pain in the arse equally to everyone.

I mostly wanted to find out for the future (even though it’s apparent they’d ticket me regardless of what the state forest allows so I guess that’s a moot point anyway).

I support law enforcement and all but petty shite like this is frustrating.

I am telling you man. You have no idea how horrible the woodworth PD is. I drive around it if I can. You will never fix your ticket. There is nothing you can do. They threatened to take my dad to jail when I was a kid when we got pulled over for a light out on the trailer!

The city had been sued for harassment and other things many times. LINK

Lived in CENLA all my life other than college. Never been stopped. It's really easy to drive 55, then 50 through that small stretch. Now, I am not defending the assholes-just saying you don't really ever have to encounter them.

I only squirrel hunt on it when dogs are allowed later, but there are plenty of deer. Just too many people for me.

On ASF? I rarely hear people mention that area.

I don’t bow hunt but during their limited rifle and primitive seasons, there is a truck at every turnout.
I see a few of the same trucks all season. A couple of trucks hung with it everyday close to my house where we saw a buck crossing regularly. Don’t know if they ever got him.

I bow hunt, so I may try it out next season along with Kisatchie right down the road.

I'm thinking Kisatchie may be the better option since it's larger and you can get away from people.

I've heard of two this week. One written while hunting at the WMA and one at someone's property for the same thing, parking by the road. I know the latter was done away with but the mayor told him the officer was doing exactly what he was told to do.

Are there designated parking lots? I don't remember seeing any on the map. And if there aren't parking lots - where do you park?
