Looking to increase my flexibility / mobility and its not something I’ve ever really had a program for.

Any good advice or programs?

You can get a lot of quality content from Squat University.

What are your goals?

To improve my mobility

I don’t have good flexibility at all and I play a lot of golf so that’s an issue. I lift heavy on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and I’m just looking for something to supplement the weightlifting. If it can help improve my flexibility and lifting / golf that would be ideal.

I've used ROMWOD in the past

Daily 10-20 minutes videos specifically designed for lifting mobility

I’ve considered signing up for this, looks like I may do it. Do you just follow the daily WODs or do your own thing?

I would normally follow daily videos, unless I wanted to work a specific area and then you can search for videos by target areas.

im pretty interested in romwod. i see routines targeted for selected exercises on the site, would it be a good idea to perform that routine then do a gym session or is it more of a separate thing?

I always did it before bed.

You could definitely use it as part of your warm up though.

Its a good program.

I'm just too inconsistent.

I'll sign up, do really well for 6 or so weeks, then something will happen that will throw me off and I'll realize I haven't done it for a few weeks, cancel, and then a few months later will sign back up because I feel stiff again.

Repeat that process over and over and over

i added Yoga once a week to my routine and its a game changer. I wish i would have done this a decade ago

My squats and deads have gotten so much better and i feel a lot stronger.

I go to Lifetime Fitness and they’ve put their Yoga classes on You Tube. Look for SOL and FLOW.

Interested as well. My golf swing feels like I’m a 300lb bodybuilder trying to swing it. I’m so stiff.

I feel like it’s hindering my weights now too.

I signed up for ROMWOD. Did the Saturday workout which was mostly just stretching the hips and it’s remarkable how tight I am. This is hopefully what I needed.

after the input here i started with gowod a few days ago. its a few bucks cheaper and online reviews seemed to favor it a little more over romwod. pretty impressed so far but was humbled when watching the video of the girl doing the v sit and touching her chest to the ground while im still a foot away lol.

the first one I did they said to lean over and get your chest towards the ground. Guy in the video is touching it with his legs spread. I had trouble just getting my legs far enough apart.

It’s certainly humbling.

I use different reminder programs, but in any case, it all depends on you.

Started the GOWOD program that someone else listed here. Started a couple of days ago and already notice a big difference. Will continue to do the daily and post workouts and see what they can fix.
