I agree but a down year shouldn't be losing to teams we're much more talented than. That's different.

And what will you say when this leads to bad recruiting?

We're only more talented on paper and most of those players are true freshmen and sophomores with no experience.

I'll take that and suffer through a down season any day.

And thats whats wrong with some of our fans. The same ones that wanted to keep Miles. Do you think Bama, Ohio State or any top program would “take” what we have seen this year?

A down year would be 3-4 losses to good teams. Not losing to Miss St and Mizzou. This isn’t a down year. It’s a complete implosion and could reset the program.

That's a bit dramatic

In a normal year.

Upsets are happening all around college football.

Not me. The attrition LSU suffered this offseason alone was going to be very tough to overcome in the next year or 2. You can’t pile on with bad coaching, & losing games you shouldn’t.

I hope you don't take this approach in your own life

Nope, not acceptable, as we must RELOAD EVERY SEASON just as Dabo and Sabamm do. Otherwise, O's salary at 7 M a year is way too high.

If Oklahoma, Auburn, and Ail S U - just to name a few - are gonna pay their head coaches 7 M a year, multiple-loss seasons cannot be tolerated. They gotta reload.

But you shouldn’t have to take a down year if the defense doesn’t quit on their coaches bc coach 0 complemented trump

Down year is one thing.

We’re looking at historically bad. The kind of bad that can hurt recruiting classes and cripple your program

This is not a “very down year”.

This is shaping up to be a historically bad year.

I agree with this sentiment in part and it’s mostly what I’ve been saying.

Last year was magical. It was perfect. There won’t be another one like it. And it worth it to win one and have a crappy year trade off.

However the issue is, that year WAS lightning in a bottle. What we’re seeing now is what Orgeron is. So these type of seasons will continue as long as he is here.

Last season was a hell of a ride. I just wonder how quick we are to move on and upgrade. We’re one of the most elite programs in the NCAA, we need to keep the foot on the gas
