They would rather sit out an entire season rather than be in a conference with Texass again. tells you all you need to know.

Or rather they didn't want to get that lucrative Big 10 money taken away if they went rogue on the conference.

Out of curiosity what do you think the TV money payout will be for the B10 this year without any football?

They couldn't join the Big 12 this season even if they wanted to. This speculation the last few days has been a rediculous self indulgent fantasy.

It’s been nearly a decade since A&M has played Texas on the football field. Yall can stop obsessing and get over your little brother syndrome now. I promise Texas doesn’t give you a second thought these days.

Or they don’t want to take a 20 million pay cut by leaving the big 10

$20 million is a drop in the bucket.

People on this board way overestimate CFB.

Just rejected student applications alone...the amount of money...

Top 5

1. University of California-Los Angeles: $5,369,840

2. University of California-Berkeley: $4,681,320

3. Stanford University: $3,632,130

4. University of California-San Diego: $3,608,290

5. University of Southern California: $3,419,440

Nebraska would rather and makes more money being a part of a prestigious conference than chasing football money. It's nice but just icing on the cake.

Those rejected application monies aren’t flowing in because four of five are in the Pac 12. Those are flowing in because California is the single most populated state in the US and a number of the schools on that list are the top schools in that state. (Can’t vouch for UCSD)

Nebraska’s income from that ain’t going up unless the state population quintuples or they become an Ivy level school (Top 10 school) instead of an AAU member (typically top 70-100 school).

Not relevant.

At some point there will be football again and the payouts for them being in B1G is more than it will be in Big XII.

Nebraska: Hey Big XII, we want to come back. We sorry bro.

Big XII: We would love to have you back.

Nebraska: Cool. We would like an equal share of all non-tier 3 revenue.

Texas: GFY

Nebraska: Hey, looks like B1G isn't so bad after all...

Didn't your kissing coach just float the idea of playing Aggy again? All I hear about from Whorn fans is how they want to play Aggy again... I guess for the easy win?
