The longtime home of Bravo! Italian Kitchen at the Lakeside Mall in Metairie is now being transformed into a new Italian restaurant from a New Orleans company with a growing presence in Jefferson Parish.

A Tavola is the latest project from Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts, the company that operates restaurants from Broussard’s and Tommy’s to Royal House Oyster Bar and the Bombay Club.

Wow, I would have preferred a chain over an overpriced creole cuisine concept. Was hoping for a Papasitos.

Friend,

That location is in the heart of the best Italian restaurants in America. Of course there’s Impastato’s but don’t forget Faustos, Andreas, Filippo, and Giorlando’s. We shall see how long it lasts.

Yours,

I’ll bet covid is giving them a little downturn. They banked on tourism. Their menus all look excellent but their dishes always seem to have extremely small portions and severely lacking in any kind pop or flavor.

Never heard a local person say they love any of their restaurants.

Broussard is the only decent one.

I like the old Italian Neighborhood in the North End of Boston. Loaded with good Italian restaurants, bakeries, and shops. Definitely hit that place up if you've never been
