Comfortable masks for long travel.

Most likely going on a pretty long flight in 2 months to a place that requires masks everywhere, so i’d like to get a mask that is comfortable for long periods of time. My mask is ok but really makes my face sweat and clings after a few minutes.
I’m sure a lot of people will be in the same boat pretty soon.
Any recommendations or reviews?

Fit is incredibly important. I have a long, high-bridged French nose, and my kind friend gave me some cute handmade cloth masks...alas, my schnoz doesn't fit in them. If I tie tight enough to be secure, the end of my nose is abraded by the fabric within 20 mins. The cheap paper pleated surg masks are okay, but similarly caused skin irritation and didn't fit my narrow big nose face, LOL. I end up with big gaps between nose bridge and cheek unless the mask has a moldable nose bridge.
The N95s with a flex metal nosebridge and a vertical seam down the front work well enough on my face to wear comfortably for a few hours.
Most comfortable one in rotation at my house is a washable flimsy thing mailed to us by Ochsner in advance of a dr's appt. It feels like t-shirt jersey, I dunno if it does much filtering....but it is soft and breathable enough to wear for hours at a time. Cons: it is bright blue and has a stupid Ochsner logo tag.

If I'm in my office I can wear a cloth mask. If I go up to patient areas I wear a surgical mask.
The masks that are "ninja style" in shape are the most comfortable to me. I'm claustrophobic so some of the masks I've tried just rested right on my mouth and wasn't comfortable more than a few minutes.
The ones I have...have a moldable nose bridge for a better fit.

Agree with the neck gaiter. You can get a neck gaiter with a filter pocket if you want more protection.

Neck gaiter gets my vote. It's what I use all day at work. If it gets a little damp and stuffy, you can rotate it around a little and get a fresh area.

This but I had a lady make an actual mask out of the neck gaiter material so it doesn’t have to go around the back of my head. Also grow a beard so it doesn’t seal off

I was just on a 3 hour fight the other day and I was worried about comfort. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. The planes are cool enough to where you can breathe easy and it doesn't get stuffy. After 15 min I didn't even realize I still had one on.
I got a couple cloth masks from Dicks before I left. They are made of a tshirt material.

Not sure how I feel about gaiters. It seems like it would be annoying and my neck would sweat

Does anyplace have N95's? Wouldn't folks prefer a little better filtration when going on an airplane?

I’ve already had Covid so I’m not concerned about infection. This is strictly 100% about comfort.

Have you ever actually worn an N95? Good luck wearing that for several hours on a plane.
Also....for an N95 to truly protect you....you have to be properly fit tested for it so you know your exact size. Otherwise it’s not getting a proper seal to your face and isn’t offering you the protection you think it is. Also....for guys you must be clean shaven for it to get a proper seal to your face....so an N95 is absolutely useless if you have any sort of beard or even some mustaches.

The cloth ones are the most comfortable ones I've tried. Some lady my wife works with made a bunch of them and I have a few I rotate and wash.
The thing I've found is as you wear them more, the more you get used to them and the more comfortable they get. I had to go to the office last week and wore one all day when I was there. By the end of the week, the mask had become like just another article of clothing. Sure, it was a relief to get in the car and take it off, but I hardly noticed any discomfort after the first day.
