I am as fiscally conservative and as socially conservative as is sane.... and more than half these folks are so lost in Trump they have forgotten context to anything.

I'm also a big Trump supporter. Mostly because of the ideological threat he represents to the opposition.. thr hope we can stop these globalist fks... but I ain't about that single person blind defensive method.

It's important to remember that it's ok to be a Trump voter, but it's not ok to be a Trump fanboy to the point of pure sycophancy.

A a voter and private citizen, you should never ever be loyal to a politician.

100% agree. We know this lesson already. No need to re-learn it.

What are you saying? We're better off having gone through a manufactured accusal of the president for Treason because it didn't work?

Pretty much. The investigation had already started. The media was pounding that drum everyday as well.

Sessions doesn't recuse himself and the story never goes away. The Dems and media can hang it over his head for 4 years. Convince the American people that Trump is a traitor.

Sessions recuses himself and the snakes get their best shot and obviously miss because there's nothing there. Comey, McCabe, Strzock, etc. are all exposed and Trump is vindicated.

Which of those options is best?

Sessions only spoke out after the jig was up years later.

Documents came out showing how crooked Comey was, it is a little late for Sessions to speak up, no? Sessions as AG could have easily spoke out -even within- about Comey and RR and what was going on, he didn't.

Even Sessions claim he called for Comey to go is weak as his actions showed otherwise... As he took meetings with Roddy, McCabe and Comey and bowed to them.

He appointed Huber to skate HRC because he is a scared little elf.

So it is a little too late for Sessions now to claim Comey should have been fired...

Please link where Sessions denied going along with removing Trump via the 25th amendment.

This shows what a weasel Sessions is. He almost sounds like KAC's husband with a touch of prog defiance...

Did you see Amash for what he was in your self imposed grandeur studying of each politico? No. like everyone you learn as you go.

This is where most are at as you stay behind and defend the elf

Sessions might as well go ahead and bend over because he is about to be fracked by the Alabama voters.

Because he could see the future and knew that the GOP would hold on to the senate? Or what if the corrupt assholes were a little smarter and a little more successful at manufacturing evidence?

And the fact that Trump was acquitted doesn't erase the negative impact this sham had. He had to split time between running the country and that garbage for 3/4 of his presidency.

Did nothing?? Excuse please, honorable sir. Confucius say, "To take no action is an action."
Translation - What Sessions did betray both his boss and his country.

Sessions choosing not to recuse himself wouldn't have altered this at all. In fact it would have prolonged the investigations from the House and the media.

Here's a better what if. What if Trump had followed through with his promise to overhaul our immigration system, both legal and illegal? It was only his primary campaign promise. He probably holds onto the House and doesn't get impeached at all. But let's continue to blame the AG instead of the second most powerful man in the country. (1. Kushner 2. Trump)

University of Alabama fans, Tuberville takes back the six fingers. Are you really going to vote for Tommy Tuberville? That is just too funny. The Alabama faithful will put Tommy Tuberville in office.

I really don't care either way. I'll vote for either of them over Doug Jones.
