Remember all those folks who died because of the crowded Jacksonville beaches opening?

It was a month ago when the beaches opened.
The national media did a collective freakout from the images.
The Washington Post trended a hashtag #floridamorons. OK, that may me correct in other situations.
WAPO
In Duval County, where Jacksonville is located, cases have been steady since....No spike.....And most of the recent cases in the area come from a single zip code in Northwest Jacksonville (32208) that is nowhere near the beach. In neighboring counties, which account for many of those beachgoers, numbers are all down.

Shocker, I was in Amelia Island when it opened its beaches on May 1. Crowds were reasonable, everyone maintained social distancing, and the Sheriff was out doing rounds on the beach to enforce it.
It has worked out fine so far...

Those people in the picture are probably more likely to step in dog shite. That's a lot of dogs for one beach.

It's okay for the media to act like idiots and claim they're the authority on knowledge and right and wrong because people only remember the original front page story and not the hidden correction days later.

Yet NY and NJ get a pass for forcing Covid positives on their nursing homes.

That is where Baptist Hospital downtown location is and also UF Shand’s. That is where the number spike in that zip is probably from.

Not noticing much other than a 99.7% occupied housing percentage. What's significant? I can't think of anything.
